Very very basic place

Very well placed at walking distance from city centre, and that about sums up the really good points of the place. Very thin breakfast, minimal comfort in the rooms, not so clean showers, too short shower curtains. Not really bad though but 2 to low 3 stars level. If you get there, make sure you do not overpay.
Only worth it for the view & location

My partner and I stayed at Alkyon hotel for 5 nights, we had specifically booked this hotel for the view onto the beach (sea view room, NOT partial sea view room).
When we arrived we were shown to a room on the side of the hotel, immediately I knew this was not the front facing sea view room. I went back down to reception and explained that I paid for a sea view room, not partial sea view. They then tried to explain that you could see the beach if you went to the very end of the balcony which is true, but not what is advertised or what I paid for. I politely asked to be moved to one of the front facing sea view rooms and they said they had none available so we were moved the next day instead. The staff weren’t overly welcoming compared to other places we’ve experienced in Greece.
The rooms are very basic, some rooms have a large fridge with the inbuilt freezer whilst other rooms only have a small fridge that is barely cold. No kettle, tea or coffee in the room either. The hotel doesn’t make any effort to help out with things to do in Paros or give any tips ect. Some of the sheets & towels were stained or very old and clearly need to be replaced. The bathrooms are okay, some of the shower hooks are broken or don’t exist so it becomes a hand held shower.
Breakfast is disappointing, not worth waking up and going down for it. There wasn’t much bread and it was hard & stale, the only other option was yogurt and some fruit. The only type of coffee is Americano.
The pros of this hotel include the location, and the view from your room (if you get a sea view room). It’s about a 15 min walk to the Port and there’s lots of good restaurants around. The beach is right outside the hotel and is good for swimming.

Probably worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
Very expensive at €145 per night (compared with €55 per night in Crete for better accommodation the previous week).
Tiny room with double bed and one single squeezed in.
Totally yellow sweat stained pillows
Loose detached toilet seat
Wall electricity plug hanging from the wall (with live electricity going through it) 20cm from the pillow where my daughter would be sleeping.
Tuffs of human hair just swept to a corner on the balcony
All bathroom attachments very loose, including mirror shelf
Loose towel rails on the balcony, twice flung at me and hitting me in the face and back, leaving visible scratches.
Small fridge with back exposed facing the bed, exuding a lot of heat.
Very plain repetitive breakfast
Asked if I could settle in cash at the end of the stay for a discount......🤔🤔
Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere

Yes, hotel is right on the beach and it's clean BUT:
Breakfast is cheap and boring, there is no minibar despite description says there is one, not even a water! Fridge was so loud that we had to unplug it during night because we couldn't sleep with such a noice. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room I find very pre-historic. I like my tea to have either on the balcony or before bed time - didn't happen. Cleaner walked into our room without knocking on the door. She simply unlocked the door and walked right in while my husband and I were in the bed resting and she saw my husband in his full glory. Then she just stood there looking for a while instead of apologizing and leaving straight away! Then every time we met this cleaner in the hall she had a silly grin on her face.
We asked if we could check out late. We have been told no. Despite hotel being completely empty! I feel like everything we asked for at the reception was a no. Absolutely no interest in providing some service. I don't think we have asked for anything special or different...
On our last day, when check out was at mid day, cleaner again just walked in to our room while we were sitting on the balcony. It was 10:20am and we still had an hour and 40 mins for checking out but she already wanted us to leave. It was so rude!
Everything and everyone needs replacing, including management!!!!
Massive shame because there is so much potential...
Great location but outdated

Spent 3 nights last week here. The location is excellent and if your into real estate you would say “ location, location with potential”.
Hasn’t been touched in 30 years I would say. Bathroom is hand held shower, room safe is moveable - in dimple terms very old.
For a room to sleep in it wil do, just don’t have any expectations.
