Horrible night update!

This is an update to my last post about this place. I finally got my money back. It cost me $350.00 to get back the $50.00 dollars. And took 6 months, the owners of this place really don't care anymore.
I stayed at this hotel back in August of 2017 for my birthday and had a good time. I found the rooms to be clean, but they smelled of smoke. As I had asked for a non smoking room it took them 2 times to get it right. The room was well used but clean, and cheap, and close to everything I wanted to do. Which was what made me stay after the first night.
I stayed 2 other nights later on in September in room 114 (if I remember correctly) in the center hallway. Again not great but I liked that room because it was quiet, and had a king size bed, and great a TV. I did have to ask them to change the sheets and covers, as they seemed dirty but was assured that they were just old looking and not dirty. So they did grab clean ones right out of the dryer and re-did the room. And they too looked dirty also, but I did see them being washed (so I took the room) for $50.00 dollars a night (which is almost $50.00 less then other rooms in the area) and as a veteran of Iraq and afghanistan I can handle old looking sheets for $50 a night "lmao".
So I left the hotel somewhat happy at only paying $50 a night. Then comes April 2018, I returned to the hotel to stay a couple nights for business this time a little out of my way but for the price the extra 20 min drive was more then worth saving at least $50 over other hotels in the area. And then the problems started.
The first room had urine on the toilet seat, hairs on the pillows, stuff on the walls to which I can only guess. I went to the office to say something. That's when the night time guy with the glasses laughed and said is that all you found? He handed me a key to a new room again found very similar things in 2 other rooms on top of the first room 3 total. I asked for the room I had stayed in the last time I was there and was refused saying that the owner didnt want to dirty up those clean rooms.
Now by this time almost an hour and a half had gone by and I noticed bites all over my arm which was the arm I used to pull back the cover and sheets on the bed. I had enough of it all so I went back to the office after looking at the 3rd room. And then got a huge shock, the night manager refused to give me back my money.
He claimed that the rooms I looked at I had messed up the beds and it was going to cost them to have the staff to remake the beds. I asked him that knowing the beds are full of bugs, hair, and urine, and other bodily functions over the toilet and sheets and walls. That he was willing to still rent them? He said that those were the orders from the owner.
So I left since I was NOT going to sleep in those beds and since I already had bites all over my arm. I came back the next morning to speak to the owner and they didnt care and refused to refund my money. But they did offer me 25% off if I wanted to rent a room for that night.
So they left me no choice but to sue then. I know I spent WAY more then $50.00 but it was a matter of principle. And I did make a complaint to the health department. I did finally get my money back.
And the messed part to this whole thing is back in September I had found out this place was up for sale cheap. And I was putting together a deal to buy it and remodel it.
DO NOT STAY HERE! they know they have bugs and dont care! And also they dont change out the sheets, pillow cases, or the towels and stuff. The night manager told me that the cleaning staff looks and if the sheets and stuff look clean they just reuse the same stuff and just remakes the bed.

In town with family for a soccer tourney, loved it! Check in was a breeze, kids on wifi right away(of course) - no complaints there. A LOT of sports on cable tv. The neighborhood was very safe and quiet. Many restaurants within a few minutes. Kids lost the tourney but we were winners at Regency Inn !

Friends stopped here passing through town. Hung out a bit in their room and an it was an eye opener. Old motel. Passable cleanliness. TV did had sound but no picture. Room had heat that worked. Furniture in room was pretty well used. Nothing upscale at all. Best thing I can say it that it's near I-88 and cheap and served its purpose of providing a stop over for road travelers. Ample free parking.

I had stayed at this hotel in the past and went well.. this time not so good, I found hair's on the pillow along with blood on the sheets, blood and facial matter on the toilet. I changed rooms 3 times still all bad.. One of the rooms had a bugs on the bed you could see. When I asked for my money back they refused.
So the next morning I talked to the owner asked for my money back and she refused. This place is a joke, pay the extra 10 to 15 dollars stay somewhere else. The service is horrible the rooms are bad. The house cleaning doesn't change the sheets after people stay it's SICK.
I went to the health department and they have over 30 complaints, a couple of people have even had to go to the hospital for sever bug bites.
I'm in the middle of suing them for my money back, I know 50 dollars isn't worth suing but I hope it will close them down.

I am self employed frequent travleler in Naperville Area. Regency Inn Ogden Ave works perfect for me. This clean, comfortable hotel. People working there are very helpful.
Very conveniently located nearby high-way I-88 exit.
Lots of shopping stores. Good free parking available. They let your pet stay with you with little charge. Excellent wi-fi in all the rooms, as well as in public areas at no charge. They have FLAT SCREEN LCD TV with HD reception with more than 60 channels.
