Fire and smoke

Someone blew up a pizza in the microwave on our floor and ruined our stay. This occurred at 3am. The smoke and halation caused us to have severe headaches no sleep and we checked out the next day and avoided staying another night due to the smell in our room and the smell down the hallway. The burnt pizza smell from the microwave filled the halls and the room. We thought it would get better as the morning went on and never got any better and we had to leave the hotel. We did ask for a compensation however they were only willing to give us 5000 points towards our Hilton honors. In my opinion we should’ve been calm for free night. It was a terrible evening we were woken up by a fire alarm at 3 AM and we did not get back to sleep till six am. The reason we didn’t get to sleep till 6 AM is because the smoke was so bad in our room at our hall of our hotel room that we were unable to sleep due to the smell and thick smoke
Best Place to Stay When in Naples

Have stayed at this property a number of times. As a Diamond it is one of the best run Hilton properties in their portfolio. The staff is well trained and accommodating. The hotel is spotty and well maintained. Shula’s Steak House is always a must do with excellent food and service. All in all a must stay when in Naples.

We had two blackouts during this stay. The staff was so professional and helpful with all that was going on. The thing that they could have them better with is the lighting in the staircases. We were on the fourth floor and the Emergency lighting in the hallways in the stair cases could have been a lot better. However, The overall care for us was above and beyond what I would’ve expected! Due to the fact that the phone lines were down as well, they were personally going door to door to check on us.

We had such a wonderful time are this Hilton . We will definitely be coming back . We absolutely love the shuttle to the beach and they give complimentary chairs to use . Shula is a great restaurant, we ate there twice during our stay . This hotel is also close to shopping and dining in the area. The only down side ; there was a power outage .. a transplant was down . We came down to the desk concerned and Jenna was so pleasant ( she even offered compensation, we declined because of how nice she was and we know somethings you can’t control everything that happens outside of the hotel . ) & very informative about the situation. She made us feel a better.

This is not a beachfront location. However, they offer a complimentary shuttle to and from nearby Vanderbilt Beach. We chose this location for its vicinity to the 5th Street South shopping district, as we had been on the beach for the prior 7 days in Sanibel. So, this was a nice, elegantly “old Florida “ styled hotel, with modern amenities. It also has a (Don) Shula’s Steakhouse on premises, although we didn’t take the opportunity to eat there. Our focus was on seafood restaurants. Only issue we had with the hotel was the poor or no sound on the tv cable. While this was the provider’s issue, it persisted for the last 2 days we were there. I would have expected more from Hilton to resolve, as it would be impacting all guests. Or as a gesture of goodwill, to offer some accommodation in our nightly rate, which didn’t happen.
