Just want to start off by saying a stared Hotel is Based off Customer service ! Hotel Best Western Plus marina Gateway, 3 star hotel that is a under statement ! 5 star when it come to my rating! I’ve been to plenty of 5 star and didn’t get what I payed for . All staff Great with Greeting , conversation , answer question , asking you the question before you have to ask. Which means they are very consumed with their work. A special thanks to Reyna who made my night by making me Feel at home She is very professional but right away greeting and making you feel as if you’re at home which is a goal when you are staying at at at a hotel service if it wasn’t for Reyna and to the top of the line I wouldn’t be putting this in I recommend you stay if you are in town. Dry Clean , comfortable beds , & amazing area next to bay .Thanks again to Best western plus marina gateway hotel , Reyna & staff members . Have a great day & night Enjoy your stay!
Nice place, but I was disappointed
Dog barking from 6am to 9am. Grab and go breakfast was promise during reservation time . Not available at hotel I had to get breakfast at Dennys pay 40.00 smh. Internet connection was horrible.. nice hotel do!
Best Western Plus hotels are really nice and this one did not disappoint. The front desk people were friendly, upbeat and helpful both in check-in and check-out. Room was clean and spacious. The restaurant is not on-site, but rather across the parking lot.
Large Room/Nice Stay
I spent 3 nights in this hotel (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights). The room was clean, very large and accommodating. A king bed (a comfortable mattress but lousy, lumpy square pillows), heater/a/c, large wall length windows, desk and a TV with sanitized remote control on top of the dresser. There is a mirrored closet in an alcove with a lockable safe, iron and board. Across from the closet is a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There are plenty of lamps and lighting. In the bathroom there was one sink and wonderful citrus shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and soap. There was a tub with shower, rubber bath mat and plenty of hot water, also plenty of towels and a hair dryer. There was no smell in any room. The front desk was helpful and pleasant with a stylish lobby. There are 2 elevators. Plenty of parking on site that was fairly well lit. The hotel is located right off the Interstate 5 freeway. The only thing I would change is to offer some type of breakfast. There is also a coffee maker in the lobby. (The restaurant (Goodies) across the parking lot wasn’t great.) You’ll need to drive a ways to get to another restaurant. All in all, it was a nice experience. I would return (but please get a few things for breakfast).
In town for a conference and what a nice hotel! Nice walking path on property with views of the city! Room was wonderful! Lots of personal touches! Check it out! Also, close to freeway and if heading to Baja for the day easy access! Enjoy!
