Desperately Needs Updating
Older hotel but in a convenient location. Very old dingy rooms. Is waaaaay past due for an upgrade. Rooms are waaaay overpriced. This old style place should be around $80 per night but because of the location they got us all where they want us..desperate. I usually stay there for the sake of stacking up Hilton points but I sure wish they'd fix up that place.
You’d do better staying at another hotel on this street
Staffing seems to be a huge issue at this site. Poor availability and poor attitude. Who needs this when you are traveling? The Hilton chain usually does a much better job at their other property types, so buyer beware.
No cleaning of rooms
Please read the notice. I couldn’t help wondering if they really cleaned my room before check in. Girl at desk could care less about service. No breakfast. No pool. No cleaning. I was not impressed and will search for another hotel when I go thru this week.
No ADA shower
Paid a lot of money to stay here. Had to switch rooms 3x because the ADA room that I needed was not equipped with a roll-in shower for wheelchairs. When I called to make reservations, I explained that we specifically needed a roll-in shower. 3 rooms later, I discovered that doesn’t exist at this hotel...all they have are regular bathtubs. I do not think the young female employee at the front desk understood what I meant by “roll-in shower” or how important that is, because she kept sending me to rooms that had bathtubs. She could have saved me the aggravation by telling me upfront that they only have tubs. So if you’re traveling with someone who cannot easily transfer out of a wheelchair, they won’t be able to safely take a shower independently. The room was hot and didn’t cool off overnight. The bed was comfortable enough. Seat & couch in the room were dirty. Kitchenette came in handy since restaurants were take out only due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Gym and pool were closed, understandably. No coffee in the lobby, although the Hilton property we stayed at in Flagstaff for half this price the night before had a full breakfast and coffee in the lobby. Maybe because states have different guidelines. The price was definitely not equivalent to the quality of the stay. Disappointed.
Steve should be fired
Steve yelled at us and other customers in the lobby. Berating us for not wearing masks which by the way is unconstitutional, was not enforced when we checked in and nothing on the hotel web site say anything about having to wear a mask! Steve was yelling, rude and obviously needs to work in another industry type.
