Perfect stay!

Reviewed 20 september, 2019

We thoroughly enjoyed our four days at Fiori di Lava. Aldo and Sabrina are friendly and accommodating. I am disabled and they were always willing to make things as easy as possible for me. The outdoor eating area was accessible from our 1st floor room. Breakfast was a nice selection of fruits, yogurt, cereal, and pastries. Ham eggs and cheeses were also on offer. The location allowed us to enjoy shops, restaurants, and parks. We took a day to drive around the nearby volcano. The town has a lovely museum devoted to Mt Etna. Parking is on the street or in a nearby free lot that is for the town.

Great place to stay

Stopped here overnight on way to visit Etna. It was easy to find by driving and there was on street parking outside front door. The host were a lovely couple who were very friendly and relaxed. They prepared a ham and cheese platter which was delicious with a bottle of wine. Our stay was part of a Smart Box gift voucher and we were very pleased to have chosen to spend it here. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was also very complete with a good choice of options. The short drive from the B&B to Etna was very straightforward. All in all we would highly recommend a stay here.

Excellent service & wonderful hosts!

Reviewed 21 october, 2015

Yes, the amenities, the breakfast and it's convenient location close to the center of Nicolosi were all great. However, the most important aspect for me was the kindness & consideration shown by my hosts. A back injury necessitated an unplanned, extended stay on a day-by-day basis. My hosts were not only very flexible & understanding of my situation, they also made me feel like part of the family, inviting me to lunch and just hanging out for chats. I will always remember their humor & hospitality & my stay in Nicolosi with great fondness. L. Breedon (Washington DC, USA)

OTTIMO B&B
