Un hotel que no llega ni a dos estrellas, es más parece que le han añadido la tercera ya que se ve de otro tamaño, sin ascensor y sin aire acondicionado en las habitaciones.El calor era sofocante. El baño en medio de la habitación. El sitio estaba limpio. La habitación era pequeña y como vistas unas obras y un cementerio. Esta cerca del centro del Niort y supongo que será una opción barata de alojamiento de camino a Burdeos. El desayuno sencillo, casi todo bollería, zumo de bote y café de máquina. Teníamos este hotel como parte de un tour por la bretaña francesa del operador cntravel.
Solo para una noche
La noche nos encontró en la autopista camino a Bordeaux, y consultamos Booking por lo más cercano y apareció esta ciudad y este hotel. Es un hotel 3*, correcto como para pasar una noche sin grandes pretensiones. El personal amable y el plus de tener cochera a disposición
Clean, spacious, convenient and a pleasant place to stay
I was travelling with a friend to Toulouse. As Niort was at about the halfway point we wanted a room for two with Parking, WiFi and within easy walking distance of food. There were no rooms available with two single beds so we booked into a room for three persons at around the same price. The room was clean and spacious and the beds comfortable. This hotel fulfilled all of our needs. Because it met all of our needs, we also stayed at this hotel on our return journey so I would recommend this hotel to anybody. The host and hostess of the hotel are a delightful couple which always adds to the experience.
Emergency Stop over
We broke down on the motorway & had to be towed to a nearby garage at 3.30 am. The AA arranged for us to stay at this hotel as it was the only hotel answering at this time in the morning. It took us another hour & half to find the hotel through the narrow one way streets of Niord but the manageress stayed up to greet us & even telephoned the Boulanger on our arrival to ensure we had fresh croissants & bread for breakfast. The rooms were small but very clean & comfortable. Breakfast very nice & the owners allowed us to leave our car in the car park as long as we wanted while we looked around the centre of Niort., they were really pleasant & helpful despite not speaking a word of English. If we were ever in this area again we wouldn't hesitate to stay here. Just goes to show it's all about the service not the star rating!
Awful mattress
Please be careful with this one, the mattress springs stuck in me all night and we really needed the sleep as we were heading back to the ferry so a very long drive. The hotel is nice, the staff are friendly the local restaurants are great however the bed ruined it. Bathrooms are built into what used to be wardrobes. My fault you get what you pay for and at £37 what did I expect.
