Very disappointed in our stay…
Firstly we couldn’t check in until 4pm due to the “extra cleaning” that had be be done because of “covid” (seems to be the excuse for many things), so when we arrived in the room we expected it to be absolutely spotless. How wrong we were, as I was unpacking, I could see the dressing table area was glittery, when I wiped it, it was makeup from the previous occupant…
There was rubbish on the floor, cobwebs in the bathroom and the bath tub was very grubby. There was a brownish/rusty looking build up around the sink plug hole, which I was able to wipe away with a baby wipe.
We went to get into bed and the top half of the duvet cover had no duvet in it, it had been tucked under the end of the bed. We had to strip the duvet off and remake the bed, not something we’ve ever had to do and we’ve stayed at a lot of beds. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable.
We paid for breakfast when we booked the room, which was confirmed when we checked in. We got dressed and were really looking forward to a hot breakfast, when we opened the door to go down to the restaurant and got a surprise sitting outside the room. There was two brown paper bags with a bottle of fresh orange, a small tub of fruit, and a croissant, we were not happy bunnies to be paying a fortune for this little breakfast! There was no information in the room about the restaurant or breakfast so we presumed this was it. We were not happy! We picked up the bags and were going to hand them back to reception, ask for a refund and as Premier Inn we’re just across the road, we were going to go there for our full English. As we we’re walking through the lobby, we could could see a few people in the restaurant so asked at reception if breakfast was being served, they very sheepishly said yes, but it’s nearly over, at 9.15am!! We went into the restaurant where there were no tables set, very little hot food left, the few eggs that were there were dry and hard. No selection of coffee, just one basic and we had to look for our own cutlery as there were very few staff around.

Stayed at Jury’s Inn Nottingham whilst helping my daughter move into her Uni digs. Room was pleasant, staff friendly and bar & breakfast food was good. Only spoiler was parking but that was swiftly resolved.
Great stay and staff

We only stopped for one night however, the room was clean, well presented and very comfortable. Checked in online and although we arrived early, the very helpful staff were able to provide us a room straight away. Very good location and would definitely use this place again.
Would stay here again

Really happy with our stay. Hotel room was lovely and spacious. Hotel was quiet and the staff were really accommodating. Really great that you can check out at 12 too! there is a small shop in reception with everything you might need if you forget something. Just a short 10 minute walk from the city centre/shops/bars. Right next to the canal which is lovely to walk along
