As always very comfortable beds and a good breakfast, an easy walk into town where there is an excellent selection of restaurants. We have a loyalty card and so far on this trip we have stayed Ibis Hotels in 4 different towns, but this is the only one that gives only one person a welcome drink and we must pay for the other drink! Is one of us not really welcome?

When we stayed here in July the room that we had reserved was not available and the one provided was not at all suitable. The staff worked extremely hard to solve the problem and all was eventually resolved. When we returned in August our reserved room was ready for us and there were smiles all round. As well as a good room, excellent staff and a quiet location we also enjoyed the food and wine. There is a more limited menu choice than many Ibis hotels because everything is freshly cooked. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
Lovely overnight stop over

Very welcoming staff. Clean compact rooms with comfy king sized bed. On-site restaurant had a good selection, very tasty food and very reasonably priced. Good location and easy walk into the old town.

We stayed here on our why back to the UK. Less then 10 minutes from the motorway easy to get to, with plenty of free parking. The room itself is very basic and small. The bed was comfortable. I certainly would not want to stay in a “budget Ibis”. The bathroom has a tiny bath ( I can only see children using it) with a shower over it. It would have been so much better if the bath was removed and a proper shower installed. The woman on reception was brilliant, she could work in any 5 star establishment. The bar prices weren't too bad. The restaurant opens at 7 pm, and we said we wanted to eat at 7. We were told it was fully booked till 8 pm. I think they were doing this not because of a shortage of tables, but because the kitchen could not cope if every one arrived at once. Why not open at 6 or 6.30 then? The food was good, home cooked. The buffet breakfast was also excellent, good selection, including scrambled eggs and sausages. You could even eat outside if you wanted. Something of note which I have never ever seen before. By the all singing coffee machine they had take away coffee cups and lids. In conclusion not a bad hotel, but we might try our luck else where when we are in these parts again.
Great location, clean and comfortable

We had a great stay here. Rooms have everything you need and we’re spotless. Really comfortable bed. Friendly staff and a lovely self service breakfast. The hotel is within 5 mins walking distance is the cute village square which has cafes, restaurants and a great vibe. Perfect stop over hotel.
