Sorry IHG - I expect better

Oh, where to begin. I have stayed at many IHG properties and this was probably the most, poor experience I have had. Yes, I realize we are coming out of a pandemic, but still no excuse for the overall experience.
First off, it is advertised as most competitive price by far. That is until you show up and they charge an extra $15 per day just to park. Should have put that in the price per night when advertising that. It was appreciative that the manager cut it in half, but still doesn't account for being charged at all just to park a vehicle there. This is Oklahoma City, for goodness sake, not New York.
So on top of that, the elevator lights were out in one of the elevators so you had to ride up in pitch dark. That appeared to be have gotten fixed later in the week.
The pool was out of order, and it didn't appear it was because of Covid.
Last but not least, it was offered to have my room cleaned every day. It occurred once in my stay there for the whole week. If I am dropping the amount of money I am to stay down in Bricktown, I expect to have the level of service for what I paid for my stay there.
Just a poor experience overall for the amount of money spent, for sure.
Sorry IHG, I expect better.

This hotel is in a great location; it's a quick walk to Bricktown and many other restaurants. The room was clean, quiet and nice. I was disappointed that at check in, a sign was posted that the swimming pool was out of service. When you're traveling on vacation with kids, that's a huge deal. The breakfast selection was weak, but I appreciated the effort. I got the sense that this hotel is understaffed and I recognize that but I think both safety and hospitality could be bumped up a notch. Overall, a nice hotel, just don't expect any bells and whistles.
Enjoyed the Room, Not Much Else

We stayed for one night. The location was great, walkable to Bricktown sites. We had a suite room which was sooo large, we enjoyed the extra space. The staff at check-in was certainly not the friendliest I've encountered. I had to ask about the parking details and they didn't mention anything about breakfast. The elevator was the sloooooowest and we were only going up to the 2nd floor (and one elevator was out of order). I suppose I would stay here if I were in the area again, but mainly due to the location.
Very good value, modern, clean. and CENTRALLY located

If you need a "night out" and want a hotel within 2 blocks to major eateries, ball park, comedy club etc, this is your place.
Parking is free(!) and secured by gate behind the building, the hotel is very new, modern and clean. Rooms are nice and big/roomy.
Overall, a really good value/location proposition in Oklahoma City.

Really great location, dislike that they charge for parking but $15 with in and out privileges wasn't completely unreasonable. My kids enjoyed the pool but wish there was a hot tub. A/c didn't work well, my room wouldn't get cooler than 74. Check in was good and staff polite, wish they had breakfast though, wasnt even offered a bagged breakfast.
