Disappointing

Reviewed 7 december, 2022

It is true, the building has been beautifully and masterfully restored. Details of the decoration are beautiful. The bed linens and towels were high quality, as expected. The bed was terribly soft. And we were also disappointed by the lack of warmth and hospitality.

Very classy hotel, well located. Great breakfasts

Three nights in Orange to do the food and wine thing, and this place was ideal. Welcoming staff and everything is very classy. Rooms are great, especially the Yallungah suite. Breakfasts are terrific. Hotel dog is also good.

Best accomodation in Orange

Reviewed 24 october, 2022

Outstanding character accomodation with immaculate rooms and first class service, staying here is a unique and wonderful experience. The breakfasts are a highlight, showcasing local produce and you won’t need to eat before dinner. Cannot wait to come back!

Very friendly

Just returned today, after a 3 night stay in Orange, and "The Byng Street Boutique Hotel " was just fabulous, all the staff were so friendly and the rooms and the rest of the hotel was so clean and tidy and cosy , I think they named it wrong, unique is what I would call it, the decorations give it warmth and so do the staff. When we go back to Orange, we hope they can fit us in,I now know why it is so popular

Best ever

From the moment we walked in the young receptionist provided wonderful service, she showed us to our room and explained all the features including the complimentary drinks and high quality tea and coffee available. The room was large comfortable and the bathroom had underfloor heating. The young lady even offered to assist with bringing our luggage from the car. The hotel had two lounge area’s both with a fireplace which were burning and a good selection of magazines to read in each lounge. When asked for recommendation for dinner we were offered three venues and the receptionist happily booked Charred which she highly recommended and was indeed excellent. Prior to going out for dinner we had a tea service delivered to our room with a special tea to have on our return to help us relax and get a good nights sleep. Breakfast was included served in the heritage dining room and this was also superb. We will definitely stay here again.
