Best vacation resort in Orlando

Reviewed 27 november, 2022

My husband and I love this HGV resort but full disclosure, we are owners and this has been our home resort for almost a decade. The pandemic prevented our yearly visit for the last two years but we were pleased to see new roads, restaurants and a Target had popped up in the immediate area during our absence. Here are important points to know about Parc Soleil. The suites are spacious and well appointed. The grounds are impeccably manicured and the pools are beautiful. It’s true there is no room service or daily housekeeping but to be sure, this is a vacation resort (Hilton Grand Vacations Club) and not a full service hotel.

Hilton Parc Soleil PROS AND CONS

Reviewed 23 november, 2022

We've stayed in this hotel at least twice , the most recent in November of 2022. It was myself and two children age 8 and 15. I'm going to list the Pros and Cons PROS: Very nice suites, large, giant bathrooms, comfortable rooms and beds. Full kitchen Expansive grounds and large fun pool Indoor parking, which to me is a real plus Good location to the parks CONS No room service No restaurants , except for a cafe that you can order an pick up from, limited items and doesn't open til 12:30 Coffee maker which I couldn't get to work even after watching a YouTube video where the guy said it was the most difficult to use coffee maker he's ever experienced No way to get coffee in the morning at the hotel! Lots of new and inexperienced staff. No daily housekeeping Prices are fair, not great. If you're planning on staying there, be prepared to make your own meals, or drive and dine out. We tried to order food delivery three times, then it turns out restaurants who listed delivery didn't deliver. UBER Eats sucks, tried to order twice and all it did was get my card put on a security hold. Nice hotel otherwise.

Clean and quiet, nice staff, low-frills

Reviewed 19 november, 2022

The staff was kind and helpful, and the environment very clean. There were a few fun songs played during the day but overall, it felt like an environment dedicated to relaxation. The Internet was erratic. We felt very safe and the resorts easily accessed via taxis and Uber. I was disappointed at the end of my time share presentation by how cool the salesperson became. I was honest with him throughout our conversations. I very well may buy in the future but that ending stuck with me. For fun, we threw cornhole and one board would not stay elevated. No big deal, it was funny. The water slide did not appear to be activated. The fitness center was surprisingly modern and well-outfitted! We would return for a vacation package but not for at a per-night rate unless very discounted.

Great Resort

Reviewed 11 november, 2022

I was here on a 3 night package to attend a time share presentation. Hurricane Nicole made it necessary to book another night because my airline cancelled my flight due to the storm. I have nothing but positive things to say about my visit. The front desk was helpful and friendly. The Market was very convenient to get my meals and the food was fresh and tasteful. They also have a restaurant which also was very good. The rooms were clean and up to date. I particularly enjoyed the one half mile jogging path that encircled a lake on the property. It has speakers along the path that play music. I definitely will return here again in the future.

Yikes. Personally, I’d look elsewhere.

Underwhelming is the key word here. First your weaseled into a timeshare meeting, then given the “illusion” of luxury with nice landscaping and gate security only for it to fall apart EXTREMELY quickly. Checking into what they, in the words of the timeshare saleswomen, call a 5 star resort—only to have to find your own hotel trolly and push it through doors that have all the hardwiring for power handicap openers but missing the actual button. You finally get into your room to find a harder than hell bed and a couch with a visible dent from people sitting in it. The hotel is so outdated that they have DVD rentals instead of smart TVs! When outside the hotel in the day you can see areas that need power washed, missing plastic on the hotel logo sign, a giant clock that has different times, and the water slide that you need to ASK to have turned on. The Pros include a kids friendly pool and a nice playground. At the price these are nice amenities to have. Overall it feels like whoever is management is lacking on execution. I’ve experienced better times at a holiday inn than at this “resort”.
