I stay at this hotel regularly. I will say first and foremost that they strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms were recently renovated. The Lobby and other common areas were also updated over time. Another review mentioned the carpets which run throughout the hotel as being dated. While true, they were actually this funky stained design from the start. The restaurant offers a good breakfast and the staff willing to do whatever is needed. Adriana in particular is friendly and helpful. The Dinner menu changed after Sheraton and Marriott merged and is not diverse as it was before but it is continuing to improve. There is little noise room to room although rooms on the north side closest to the expressway are noticeably noisy early in the morning. I suggest a room on the south side when possible.
Great venue with awesome staff
Very clean premises. Comfortable beds & pillows Nice staff and extremely friendly. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Good rates.. All in all a great hotel. Will recommend the hotel any day.
Great Birthday Party Venue
I held my fathers 70th bday surprise party at Four Points in the ballroom. It was a really great space for the type of party I had. The person I was in contact with from beginning to end was Kimberly Millin. She was excellent. Answered all questions, punctual, kind and responsive. The staff on the day of the event were also amazing. Helpful beyond measure and everyone had a great attitude. The best surprise was the food. Since I was unable to taste it prior to the event, I was really unsure about how it would turn out. Everything, and I mean every single thing was delicious. There was one snafu- which was that the elevator was out. This was a great inconvenience because there were people that needed to use the elevator and couldn’t. One person was carried down the steps. Outside of that issue, I have zero complaints and I was very glad I chose that location.
An OK Stay
Hotels in this area tend to be higher end and pricey. This was just OK on both counts. We actually had a room upgrade, but it actually was a smaller room than the one we originally booked-- it had one bed instead of two, and the room had a smaller footprint, but a larger (Jacuzzi style) bath. Hot water, tea, and coffee in the lobby were just OK--- the water for tea / hot chocolate was warm rather than hot at any time, and we had to ask for regular tea bags several times during out stay-- this service was not carefully stocked). Carpeting throughout the place looked almost bleach-stained in spots, and rooms had a room-scent smell that didn't fade throughout our stay. The staff were helpful and responsive, but the setting could have used work. On our first day there was a gas smell at the top of the stairs to the second floor, which we reported; on the second and third day the gas smell lingered (even during the rain) at the outside of the exit door near the gas meter. Seems like this place could use a good refurbishing.
We hosted a party and booked rooms - everything was perfect. - the hotel staff was awesome. The rooms were exactly what we needed and expected. The bar was a great place for a drink. We had some dietary restrictions and the hotel team was very accommodating. - highly recommend.
