We stayed two nights and found the room was very good. Breakfast was a little over priced if not included but food was good. Staff very helpful. Building is really nicely renovated but location is not as central as others.
Lovely hotel: some improvements needed in customer service

A well situated hotel on a quiet street. Well-appointed,modern room with two windows and so lots of light. A good size too for Paris. Wonderful bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Reception staff were exceptional: extremely professional and customer friendly - offering directly to reconfirm a restaurant booking for us.
There were some issues where customer service could have been better. We received two complementary macaroons (as we are platinum members) but the person leaving them in the room didn’t think to replace the two used coffee cups. The second day, the coffee and water weren’t replaced and only one bath towel was left instead of two.
The breakfast buffet was surprisingly poor, not at all the level of a Sofitel. It was more similar to the standard and range of an Ibis or Novotel. Certainly not with €28. There are similar breakfast offers at cafes down the street for less than €10.
All in all a nice stay but some changes in the service and breakfast are needed.
A lovely place very well located run by caring people

We stayed at Hotel Bastille Boutet for one night.
We were delighted to be there, warmly welcomed by the team who was fully supportive in providing us the best possible experience during our stay.
We had to book the swimming pool because of Covid limitation. Finally it was great because we enjoyed a moment alone in the Spa.
The location of the hotel is very pleasant with close public transportation, many bars, restaurants and theatres closeby.
Thank you !!
Great place to stay

We stayed here for a 3 nights. For what I have payed it was an absolute great place to stay (bought the whole trip through wowcher, so was A LOT cheaper) Room and bathroom was of a decent size. The best feature here is obviously included in the price was sauna, turkish hammam, pool and gym. Used the saunas and pool every morning and evening as the weather wasn’t great, so was good to warm up after a days walking in the city. Breakfast was of a good selection. Unfortunately there weren’t many options for plant based (vegan or vegetarian) food. Every morning I had only pancakes and sweet pastries 😁 No vegan sausages etc. However all was delicious so can’t complain. Also I think it’s France itself who’s not into the plant based food yet, so can’t blame hotel, as we were struggling to find a place to eat to have at least few options of vegan meals.
Hotel is in a great location. Metro station is about 5min slow walk, there are restaurants around. Can feel that Parisian lifestyle as very few tourists around.
Overall it’s a nice, definitely posh hotel and would stay here again.
Nice, but not quite 5 stars.

We stayed here for four nights on a vacation. Overall, we really enjoyed our trip, but the hotel was not quite as advertised. For an advertised 5-star hotel, it was not quite up to par.
+ The value for the room was good, possibly due to it being a bit further removed from the city
+ The location was great! It was a short walk from the Feidherbe / Cheligny station which took only ~15 minutes to be in the center of the city. Plus there were lots of good restaurants around the area.
+ Everyone in the hotel was very friendly.
+ The room was quiet even though it faced the street, and the bed was a dream.
+ The bathtub is like a spaceship, so if you take baths, get ready for an A+ experience.
- The internet was really slow and inconsistent. If you are trying to work from the room, be careful. When we mentioned it to the front desk, they were of limited help in this area.
- The rooms were clean, but we had issues with both our tub and our room sink. When we asked for them to be fixed, it took two days to get fixed.
- The overall feel of the hotel was not a 5-star experience in my view; more like a 3.5 or 4-star experience. Everything from the check in, to lack of concierge, to lack of unique touches (e.g. turn down service) makes this feel short of 5 star experience.
Overall, this was a completely fine place to stay. However, I think the billing as a 5-star place is probably a bit oversold.
