Couples Weekend in Paris
Had a lovely stay at Hotel Monceau Wagram. Excellent room with a very comfy bed having walked for 12 hours on the Saturday that we were sightseeing. All the staff were very attentive and asked how we were at every moment. Only a 10 minute walk to the nearest Metro (Ternes) or the RER (Pereire Levallois). Lovely bakers about 2 minutes walk away and a big supermarket near Ternes Metro. Only downside was as our room was on the top floor the shower wasn’t at full height before of the eaves. I had to hold the shower for my wife each morning. Very easy to book taxis. So much so that as we arrived back at the hotel our taxi to the airport was already waiting for us.
Love this hotel!
I’ve stayed here 4 times already. It’s in a relatively quiet area and very cozy. The room is comfortable and the bathroom is very clean. I just wish they had better toiletries such as shampoo, lotion, etc. I have met 3 different people who handle the front desk, they are all very nice and accommodating. They offer breakfast, which I didn’t have but it looked beautiful. There is also an amazing bakery at the corner which was phenomenal. The hotel is close to a few different metro stations, and in walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe. Overall I highly recommend and I will consider staying there again on my next trip to Paris.
One Night Stop Opinion!
My best and lasting impression has to be the Directrice of this hotel. She is a friendly, thoughtful and well-spoken lady. Although I had not selected breakfast, I was offered (at least, some) coffee upon my departure the next morning. Just one word of advice - do not choose a 'Standard' room if, like me, you appreciate some space!
It was my home and sanctuary
it was just as i pictured it. good breakfast and very clean rooms the locaiton was near great restaurants and a park. I walked everywhere and it was east to return to the hotal. The park across ths treet was fabulous and there is an open market nearby where the small stores sell various items including food and fruit.
