- Staff!!!!!! Me and my partner left a watch on check out in the room, they were very quick to tell us (Thankyou so much ) All staff were friendly, welcoming! :)
- Rooms, really modern, cleaned everyday to a high standard, nice hot shower, lots of room to hang clothes.
Swimming pool- Quite shady & clean
Wifi- Very good. The odd occasion it would 'Blip'
I don't have anything bad to say about this place. I would 100% return.
One word - WOW!

Stayed a week on Phi Phi at JJ Bungalows, great place, quiet, large clean rooms, pool was excellent. No problems with recommending this establishment. No food services, but whatever, go eat out - so !any places to choose from on Phi Phi. Will definitely be staying at JJ's on my next trip to Phi Phi.
My 9th stay here

Been to Phi Phi 10 time since Jan 2012, stayed here all but my 1st visit, think I lost track of the number of visits on previous reviews.. Still excellent value for what you get, and away from the noise too
The room we stayed in this time had been redecorated & refurbished, with extra electrical sockets provided at last. Even the bathroom looked great having been painted. This had been my main criticism for a few years now, so pleased its been done at last, I assume all rooms have been decorated & updated.
The other major change was that a lot of the vegetation along the front of the hotel had been cut down & trimmed back, improving the view, but also showing all the new buildings being built, as well as how heavily used the walkway path in front now is, compared to just a few years ago.
The cleaning ladies as friendly as ever, the reception staff even seemed happier too which is nice to see.
Unless you're completely out of shape/overweight, the 30-40 steps up to the rooms are not as bad as some reviews may make you believe,
Development in Tonsai is still continuing at a fast pace, as more and more people choose to come and visit the island
Stay away. FILTHY AND STINKY

First of all, we got greeted by 3 ladies in reception who hardly knew any english. Than walked into a bangalow that smelled like something has died in there. The smell of damp in the toilet was unbearable.
I then looked at the bed and saw stains all over the sheets. And heres the best one. I saw some black big spots through the duvet on the pillows. Looked inside and the pillows where literally full of black mold. EWW.
How can they let people sleep with their faces on that ?
Even bottled drinking water that they provide smelles like mold.
Internet is worse than ant other hotel I have stayed in.
If you want good memories from tour holiday. Dont stay here.
Management should learn to make their guests happy

We had firstly book JJ Guest house but was not told about a stair case challenge and gave up. Information about that staircase should be displayed for future customers. Instead we have to pay extra to be changed from Guest house to JJ bungalow. Unless you book on the other side of the island everything is located within 5 minutes walk. The bungalow was equiped up to standard next to a small pool with no access to visitors of guests. TV was not working at arrival and internet was lousy. Staff in reception never got into report with us. Basicly I suggest management should attend a training course in customer satisfaction.
