Awesome place if you want to get away from crazy world

I visited this place early this year. I must say Rantee beach is amazing very relaxed away from all the craziness very quiet no big parties no stupidly drunk tourists. If you are looking for peaceful piece of paradise this is the spot. Bungalows are not bad little bit outdated but I loved the fact they are right on the beach offering amazing views. Another thing I really liked was our bathroom which did not have a roof so you could just take a shower under the skies in the evening. Not much for breakfast nor dinner the owner himself cooks breakfast but doesn't give any options but theres is lovely bar and a shop on the beach where you can get all you need.

Me and my boyfriend had a visit for here. We booked for 2 nights and end up extending the stay. The food, the staffs are amazingly friendly and the manager is a wonderful person as well.
This is the highlight of our Bangkok trip, we stayed in different hotels and still The Cove will always be our favourite.
We will surely be coming back.
Must see place! ❤️
Gorgeous Italian Villas on the quiet side of Phi Phi Island? Yeah, we got that...

Stayed here in December 2011 (back when it was "in between" owners). A quiet beach with snorkeling, two bars, an a couple of family run resorts, it's a modestly priced boat ride from the noise and bustle of the Phi Phi city but couldn't feel farther away.
The our stain glass french doors to the tiled veranda offered an unobstructed view of the Indian Ocean--even more beautiful on starry nights.
One cautionary word -- it's a challenging three-hour hike through jungled hills from the city to the Rantee Bay, so plan your Ko Phi Phi fun around the taxi boat schedule because you do NOT want to walk, especially at night. A small inconvenience for such a wonderful experience.
Highly recommend taking advantage of this $50 stay before word of these beautiful villas gets out!

Beware. If you are coming for basic necessities of living this is not your place. If you want amazing view this is your place. And that is ALL this place has. Bathroom has no roof.. which is nice but sucks when its raining. You're sitting on the toilet being rained upon. Not very relaxing. NO hot water! I repeat No hot water. Very basic accommodations. Expect a bed and 2 tables thats about it. "Breakfast" -- dont bother. We ate the Rantee cliff every day we were at Phi Phi. The place is basically deserted and needs to be demolished.
Perfect place to stay

first of all, some of the reviews you can read here is done for the resort nearby, which is not open anymore. view bungalows are made from concret and they are not bamboo bungalows.
you are independent and experienced traveller ??? you are NOT looking for party or disco ?! you know how to relax ?! looking for a romantic place just on top of the sea ?!
just relax at your balcony or at the sandy beach, or take care about your partner, or go for a very good schnorcheling just in front of your door with a lot of corals and fishes around. ( schnorchel gear for rent )
fanrooms are very nice, no AC, for thai standards clean, cold water only, elektricity only between 7PM to 7 AM, NO INTERNET, internet you can catch only from nearby rantee cliff resort, but very, very bad connection from your bungalow, you have go to the beach to connect, open air bathroom, great view from your balcony and and and.....
if you like, the owner provide free instant coffee, or hot water and a bowl for your instant soup. there are just 5 bungalows, three single ( nr. 1,2,3 ) and one double with a door between ( nr. 4/5 ).
there are two restaurants at rantee beach, one is rantee cliff ( we didn't like ) and than aoody a huge restaurant where everyday a lot of speedboats carrying a lot of tourist from phuket and other places to feed them. its more like a selfserv buffet than a restaurant - who did give them the permission to build up such a restaurant at rantee beach ???? but as everybody know - money makes a lot of things happened.
there is also a minimarket at the beach, but at least twice the price like on the mainland. instant soup 10 to 30 baht, cookies 10 baht and up, large water 40 baht, small can of beer 60 baht and up, can of coke 40 baht, so take some stuff from the mainland if you like.
but you got one chance - there is a good restaurant at the nearby tohko beach, just a 5 minute walk on a small path starting near your bungalow, need lamp or mobile phone in the evening, because no lights on this path.
how to go there ? rantee view has no own longboat servic. in the middle of the pier on the right side there is a place where the resort boats are stopping and picking up guests. if you are lucky the boat from tohko beach will come to the pier ( normally only at around 11.30 AM or 5.30 PM ). from tohko resort you can go by your own to rantee view ( 400m, small path ! ). Maybe you catch the boat from rantee cliff resort, so rantee view is the resort next to them. they charging you normally just 200 baht / person one way, otherwise you have to go by taxiboat ( all day round ) and they take at least 400 baht/person !!! in the moment you cann't make reservation through internet, only first come first serve. Maybe you could send an e-mail to email@example.com or call or text the owner Lee at 082 274 2783 . For Rantee Beach you can rent a Bugalow at Rantee View for a very reasonable price, and like everywhere, if you stay longer you can ask Lee for a lower roomrate.
Room Tip: single bungalow 2 or 3
