It always a great experience at this Resort. I’ve been coming here since 08 , every year and every time it’s great. Kudos to front desk staff, very professional and helpful. The service oasis grill staff was on point with food and drinks, support staff does a great job keeping all clean. I highly recommend this Resort👍

Been to this property many times, starting to show its age. Our room on the 5th floor flooded from a rainstorm. Couldn’t get anyone to pick up the phone at guest services, finally just called housekeeping to get them to deliver towels to mop up all the water. Mold and rust in the tub, no housekeeping service, no bell staff, very limited service to still have a resort fee.

I’m glad we didn’t change hotels based on the negative reviews. Staff were all friendly. No daily cleaning service but items could be requested and were promptly delivered. Room was clean. Restaurant was not full service at dinner but did allow take away service. Both breakfast and dinner food quality was good. Oasis water park was open with rotating features. In room phone didn’t work. To communicate requests with staff members, guests must text a number. Also, if you have an early morning flight, be prepared to take your luggage to the lobby to meet your transportation because staff do not arrive until 7:00 am. I would stay at AGRS again.
Really Fun Place To Stay

We had one night at this hotel and had a great time there, tbh, we kind of wished for another couple of nights! The hotel room was fantastic, we loved having a suite as opposed to a hotel room. The suite was spacious with plenty of room for us to spend time there. Everything was clean and comfortable.
The property had a lot going on, with restaurants on site, the water park, pool and more. We were able to enjoy the restaurant for 1 meal of take out which was delicious, we had fun at the waterpoark on the day we checked out and we enjoyed an evening swim and soak in the pool/hot tub on the night we arrived. We didn't have kids with us, but this would have been so fun with the kids!
The one downside is that there was no in-room dining during the week (which is when our stay was). Our room was located in the Sedona building which is right by the waterpark, but really far from the restaurant. In order to get take out, we had to walk to the restaurant, it would have been nice just to order in room dining for delivery.
That being said, we hope to return to this resort, with kids, next time we are in Arizona!
Has it's plusses & minuess

Lobby/golf pro shop is not centrally located. The conference center resides between the lobby & the resort rooms/villas. We stayed at the Sedona Suites which is the furthest from the lobby. Some of the exits to the resort parking lot have been closed off to prevent motorist on Pointe Parkway from cutting through, I guess. Unfortunately, my Waze app did not get the memo. Also, the entrance for guest parking for the Sedona Suites is a bit awkward when 2 or 3 cars are coming through. The parking lot has several plug-ins for electric cars. The exterior of the resort, Spanish style, is very nice. The grounds are well tended to. As for the interior of our suite, it could use an update. We had a wet bar, a small refrigerator, a sink & a Keurig, but no microwave. The bathroom is small, with the sink being in the bedroom and the bathroom door leading to the walk-in shower and toilet is too big. When opening the door from inside the bathroom, it takes a lot of doing. The illuminated rocker light switch was a nice touch but some of the electrical outlets, especially the GFCI at the wet bar and the USB outlets in the living room were worn out. Room service was quick but eats and drinks on the resort are overpriced.
