It's such a nice hotel with really kind staff and excellent management, I strongly recommend it to everyone who would like to stay in Munich and seeking a hotel with great rooms and services. Many thanks,
Beautiful Hotel with BAD service

I can't believe how you can hire just awful people ! Seriously we were happy at the beginning but then the man on the reception he was super racist. Just disgusting attitude. We know we have to wear the mask and yet he made a problem with us but didn't to the two people who were germans and he spoke to them gently and didn't even mention a word. This has to reach to the management because I will tell this to everyone to see this awful act. I feel sorry that such beautiful residence has such employee.
A real find: inexpensive, comfy, friendly, near the city

My husband and I were delighted with The Stay, which cost about half what we had expected to pay in the fairly expensive city of Munich. We spent three nights and loved it. Clean, quiet, kitchen in the room, laundry facilities, sitting area in the lobby with nice books, even a vending machine that stocked decent food: what's not to like? It's privately owned and that makes a difference -- we were pleasantly amazed to see the sidewalk being scrubbed with an actual brush. If you're not a slob, you won't mind the room not being cleaned daily. We didn't, and we even have a dog. Give it a try!
Getting the basics wrong.......still.

Have stayed here at least 3 or 4 times now in the last year, and am always disappointed, to the point where I won’t be returning any more. Staff are always pleasant and very helpful, but The Stay lets itself down on the most basic thing - providing a good night sleep - something which it consistently, and without fail does not deliver. The Stay is essentially an apart-hotel that seems to attract ‘lively’ long term contract workers who enjoy congregating and socialising on each other’s terraces through the night. This happens EVERY time I stay, and is clearly a systemic thing that “just happens” here. What’s more, the rooms are small and hot, meaning that you are invariably faced with 2 options: 1) Reduce the noise by sleeping with the window shut, thus enduring the furnace-like room temperature, or 2) Open the window in an attempt to cool the room, whilst letting in rancid cigarette smoke from the neighbours terrace, as well as the shouting/singing/arguing that seems to always accompany it (often way into the night) I’d love to say that my experience was a one-off, and that I’d just picked a bad night, but I’ve stayed here numerous occasions now, and it’s the same, if not worse each time. In the past, it has been notoriously difficult to get a hotel room in this district, but thankfully more are being built now, and not before time. Hopefully it will inspire The Stay to address these issues and think about the experience of its guests!
Stay over Christmas
Reviewed 31 december, 2018
My husband, myself and our two girls (3 and 7 month) stayed at at the loft accommodation for a week over Christmas. It was a great stay. The staff was super friendly, the accommodation clean and well designed and the small kitchen had everything we needed (apart from a pan) A playground and walking fields are very close by and also access to public transport (bus and than a or u Bahn) is within short walking distance. We really loved our stay and would definetly consider staying there again. The Roberts
