Fab week in the sun!
Well we left Manchester in the midst of Storm Dennis and arrived in Tenerife and to the sunshine. We have had a fantastic week, our apartment was well equipped for our needs. Beds are comfy and everywhere was very clean. Maid service every day clean towels etc. Yes our bathroom may have been a little outdated but who honestly cares about that, when you enjoy the weather and facilities so much. The complex has two large pools, one is definitely warmer. You can also access the lovely beach but be warned the sea was very cold. However that didn't put us off snorkelling every day, seeing all the fish, amazing. We loved it at Parque Santiago III because of the location, so many food choices. So if you fancy a week of winter sun highly recommend this resort. And if it bothers you that much about hiring stuff, pack a travel kettle we did 👍
Parque Santiago 3 gets 5 stars for the setting, but it is let down by extremely dated rooms. We had a studio apartment with a bath and shower, the shower is fixed in the middle, so it's difficult to stop the floor getting wet when you use it. The equipment is very basic with a 4 ring electric hob and electric oven; there's a kettle provided but it's not electric and takes ages to boil, if you want an electric kettle you have to hire it from reception. A safe is provided but you have to pay for that too, as well as paying for a microwave and hair dryer. There is wi-fi which allegedly supports 7 devices, but sometimes it wouldn't support 1 device, especially at night. There are twin beds and a settee that converts into a bed, the beds are quite hard and unforgiving. There is no air conditioning, only a ceiling fan, if you want air conditioning, you guessed it - you have to pay for that too. There is a large swimming pool outside that is filled with salt water and a play area for kids, with water slides and other equipment. Cleaners come in every day and keep the rooms very clean and are quite friendly, which cannot be said for the reception staff; some are really nice, but others are ignorant and extremely unhelpful. We will not be going back, some may love it but we didn't because of all the add ons and dated rooms.
Stayed here 10 Feb 2020 in room 4001 there were 3 adults. We truly didn't want to leave, yes our room was outdated and the bath was a bit awkward to get out of because you had to get out at the end because both sides of the bath were squeezed against both walls but it was very clean and who stays in their room on holiday anyway. The beds were rock hard and we loved them, we will be changing our mattress at home because we have never slept so well before. There was a double sofa bed in the downstairs lounge / kitchen which was very soft with memory foam mattress which our daughter used and we were upstairs in 2 twin hard beds with bathroom ensuite. The maids were very friendly and came everyday. There are alot of steps and your legs get a good workout with your muscles screaming by the time you get to your room but it hasn't put us off. The complex is beautiful, the pool abit chilly until you get used to it, loads of sunbeds, children's water slides fabulous. Area outside of complex beautiful but entertainment was a bit sparse and some singers made you NOT GO to that pub or restaurant and I wish Elvis was left alone. On the other side of the complex is the sea and it's a lovely walk to Adeje or the other way to Los Cristianos. Lots of restaurants along the beach. We are definitely going back infact if I could go next week I would. Thank you Parque Santiago lll for a wonderful holiday 😊
Villa 27 has it all if you are a group who want to go to las America’s in the main strip. The villa has 4 bedrooms all en-suite and a pull out double sofa bed in the living room. It has 2 sets of patio doors to the enclosed garden area one via a bedroom and one via the living room. Garden area has 2 tables and 8 chairs and 4 sunloungers. It has a well equipped kitchen with a large fridge/freezer. Just outside the garden area is the massive pool and more sunloungers.
