I have honestly never stayed anywhere so dirty. This was supposed to be a three night stop over for us in Playa del Carmen, but we left early - as soon as we could arrange accomodation elsewhere. The room had not been cleaned, the fixtures were unsafe and the windowsill in the bathroom was covered in old tissues, dirt and hair from other guests. The 'inclusive breakfast' was a small plate of fruit for each of us with tightly rationed coffee and toast (1 very small slice of toast and 1 very small cup each). This hotel would be resonably priced if it were actually a 3 star - sadly however, you would actually have to pay ME, a substantially large sum of money, to ever stay here again.
One of the Best Budget Options Ive Seen

This hotel is truly great. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is because I think for some the rooms could be tidier/less sparse. Now onto the good stuff...
The location and amenities of this place are hard to beat for the price.
It is located right off Avenida 5 and right near some convenience stores. All the action, the perfect beach, and incredible restaurants are a few mins walk in any direction.
The pool is super lovely and in an open atrium in the middle of the hotel. Its a nice spot to unwind and still see the sky. The staff of this hotel really went the extra mile for my sister and I. They were always offering to help with whatever we were trying to do/with any questions we had. They were lovely and attentive - always a front desk person there 24/7.
Hotel is not a bad one but it stoked my credit card info and put fraudulent charges on my card.

Don't pay with your credit card if you stay here. The pin pad is on a short cord and you have to stretch over the counter. Your inputting of your. Pin can be seen by the staff and they will then use it to charge on your card.

We stayed here for 5 days at the end of October 2018. In order to pay, my mother in law had to enter her PIN for her CC at the front desk. Since this transaction, there has been $7000 worth of fraudulent charges put on her card, and it has been confirmed that the charges started right after this. Beware, only pay cash, otherwise you will go through the same thing!!
