Misleading website information

Pool out of service, no hot breakfast, which are the reasons we book a hotel. Breakfast is either frozen sausage biscuits to microwave or a package of muffins. No juice or milk. Waffle iron broken. Hotel Definitely needs maintenance everywhere. We were told it wouldn't be anytime soon that things would be fixed. Bed and room was clean though, but we Won't be back.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

Reviewed 17 july, 2022

Worst Sleep Inn ever. I have stayed in several similar quality hotels and this is by far the worst. Extremely overpriced. Claimed to offer breakfast, but just have some prepackaged muffins and microwave yourself sausage biscuits. They have a full breakfast area and clearly offered it before and still claim it as included, but there is no breakfast. Hotel was in poor condition. The peep hole to our room was missing and plugged with a piece of tissue that anyone could have removed from outside the room and just replaced without us knowing. The lampshades were all cracked and one had a (cigarette?) burn. The base to the lamp had a socket missing. The shower head leaked. Both the pool and exercise room were "closed for maintenance"...but I could see in the exercise room and nothing seemed out of place-in fact the TV was still on yet the door was locked. In summary this was a poorly kept outdated hotel with ZERO amenities charging full price. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Zero stars

Reviewed 26 june, 2022

This hotel does not deserve a star. Keep driving, do not stay here if you expect a clean healthy environment. Outside and inside the building needs repair. The room had a large 2-3 foot space of water on the carpet from leaking AC. The nice front desk clerk seemed to think this was a normal occurrence and offered us another room which smelled of smoke and had visible smoke burns on the comforter. Neither room was clean. The shower door tracks were disgusting, looked like they had not been cleaned at all. I had to wipe down the head boards which had some sort of white substance on them. A tiny plastic bag was found in the nightstand drawer. I was concerned for my children. My young daughter with asthma could not stop coughing and said the air was hard to breathe and asked to sleep in the car. I am allergic to mold and I also experienced difficulty breathing. We had to make a tough choice for our child’s well-being. We walked out and stayed at the hotel next door. She stopped coughing and slept well there. Sleep Inn wouldn’t give us a refund. I called choice hotels to report this hotel but they did nothing to help me. This was poor service.

Keep going

Keep going. While I have stayed in worse , this was a disappointment . Carpet was stained , office chair was worn out, and the side chair had a huge stain on it. Toilet was unsteady with water stains/mold behind it. At one time it may have been a nice hotel, but is in dire need of a remodel. The one redeeming portion of the short stay was the lady at the front desk was very helpful and nice. She was a gem, definitely the shining star of the property. Recommend you pass on by,

Good and Bad

Reviewed 30 april, 2022

More like a 2.5 rating. Stayed three days in late April. First the "Good". 1. Close to I-95. Not a lot of HWY noise. 2. Easy and straight run into Savannah via US 80. 3. Female daytime desk clerk with sandy red/blonde hair was extremely personable and helpful. Was able to answer all of our questions about the area. Sorry that I didn't ask for her name. 4. Relatively close to restaurants. Two fast food establishments within walking distance. Now the "Bad". 1. Mold in shower along the center strip on the wall. 2. Cruddy under toilet fixtures. Don't think they have ever been cleaned. 3. Dirt and dust around refrigerator. 4. Phone in room was inoperative. When reported, I was told by one of the staff that no new phones would be purchased until the price comes down on the hardware. 5. Swimming pool under renovation. I was told by another guest that it's been that way for several years due to costs. 6. Advertised hot breakfast was a lie. Not offered. 7. Desk person that drives a black sedan, parks in one of the Handicapped spots. No Handicapped placard or Handicapped license plate displayed. There were plenty other parking spaces available.
