I booked a room online through the Bonvoy website, received a confirmation number from Marriott, arrived and.... no rooms! Attempts by the desk girl to call other Bon voy properties achieved no positive results. No one seemed to know how this could happen, maybe a clerk pocketed some cash transactions?

For my safety, they don't take cash For my safety, the pool is closed. For my safety, they don't clean rooms. For my safety, the Bistro is closed. For my safety, the price was the same as if all amenities were available. There was no luggage cart, the staff did not know where they were (probably in a hallway) We were told there was a provider problem with the TV, and they were working on it. We found the HDMI cable unplugged. It should have been plugged into the wall behind a heavy piece of furniture which I could not move. Was told it would be 1 hour 15 minimum before a second employee arrived, there was but one employee on site who could staff the front desk.

Needing a place for the night while on the road this hotel was in a great location for our needs. We found it very adequate and quite close to some dining options. Like most Marriott properties, the sleep quality was very good.

Checked into suite and it looked like it hadn't been dusted in weeks or vacuumed at all. Dirt on the window sills and dried liquid of some kind on the windows. My wife and I wiped everything down with disinfectant wipes that we could think of. When I informed the lady at the front desk how dirty the room was when we checked in she apologized and said she would apply a discount on the room. The room was never discounted when we checked out. I know because of Covid that staff has been cut and rooms aren't cleaned until after checkout but the sign at the front desk (which I posted) says they are deep cleaning them before checkins. Our room was obviously not deep cleaned. I was waiting for the email survey which never came which is why this review is late. Also, pool was closed, no breakfast provided because of pandemic. Should be discounted pricing. I hope things have gotten better. The hotel next door is much better.

Stayed here for a business trip and was not impressed. I felt the hotel was grossly over priced for what it offered. No restaurant, no breakfast, poor bar, poor sitting area. Bathroom needed updating. A Premier Inn in the UK was a better standard and for a fraction of the cost. The only plus side was that my company covered the bill. An average hotel at premium rate.
