For somewhere to base yourself...

Not bad, but not great either. Staff a real hangover from historical regimes with the attitude to go with it.
Rooms adequate, nothing special but clean. No air conditioning because it’s not summer (seemingly) Food as expected from somewhere like this, basic but ok. Coffee dreadful though.
Trams run by if you want to get to the city centre and pay for parking is available.

Ok food, ok room, service with very bad english. Very strong heating in rooms. Very good 80's experience. Perfect for Yugo nostalgics! Just for people who expect average and nothing more. Quite far from the city centre.
Terrible customer service

The front desk service is terrible...attention for tourist is rude.
Pesonel does not speak english...so the experience is not good up there.
It has 2 locations and if you have the bad luck to arrive to the incorrect one you will have a hard time to figure out that your reservation might be at another location...they don't even take the time to call or something to help.
Bad reviews go over the top IMO

Booked as a package on Travelocity; then very, very apprehensive after reading reviews here and elsewhere. Just spent 4 late September nights there, traveling solo. Here's what I found. Located 5 minutes from Invalidovna Metro station, and that is only 5 minutes from downtown Prague, so easy and quick to get to. Area appears to be developing. Small supermarket between metro and hotel; and brand spanking new office blocks across the street with restaurants on the ground floors. These look less than a year old. Some parts of the area looked sketchy, but I never felt unsafe walking from the metro.
Staff may not speak English well, but so what?, I had no problems checking in. Plus I got there at 11am expecting to have to check my bags - but my room was ready (on a Sunday). Elevators are small but NEW and fast. My one bedroom was spacious actually and on the 18th floor with a great view. Room is a bit dated, but was clean and cleaned every day. Bathroom looked less than a year old, new tile, new fixtures. Always had good water pressure and temperature. Did not need or try air conditioning, cracking the window was all I needed. TV had lots of Czech channels (Imagine that!) but also BBC and an English sports channel.
Now here are the cons. The mattress wasn't a mattress but a mattress pad, about 1.5 inches thick. It wasn't the best, woke up and parts of my body were asleep. Two of these on top of each other would be better.
Breakfast is free and extensive, but do agree that the quality is lacking. There are hot and cold items. This place does a booming tourist bus business apparently as the dining room was sometimes packed in the morning. My breakfast was fried eggs, yogurt with granola, watermelon, pastries. They also have cold cuts and cheese.
Wifi, wifi, wifi. Probably my biggest complaint. Great in the lobby, not so great on the 18th floor. Came in and out. Probably worked steady 70% of the time in my room, steady with low signal.
Would I stay here again? I travel cheap and only need a hotel room for like 8-9 hours, so yeah, I would.
Avoid this hotel

The location of the hotel is not bad as well the view from the room.
No wifi , very rude staff and bad service on the reception specially the girl called Monika.
The rooms are small and not clean (dust is everywhere).
The air conditioning wasn’t working properly, we couldn’t sleep at night.
Foods are average but the restaurant is too small we had to wait to have a table to sit.
I don’t recommend it at all.
