My friend and I had a wonderful stay here. Location was central so all the action was on our doorstep - but it was quiet and peaceful inside. We had a lovely warm welcome and the service was outstanding throughout. Our bedroom and shared bathroom were spotlessly clean and we enjoyed our breakfast on the deck every morning. Thank you!

Love staying at the Lotus Guest House. It's right in the heart of town so you are close to everything. If you're there during Carnival week, you get a great view of the parade from the front porch. The back porch is a great place to relax and chill; also where you will most likely get to meet the other guests during breakfast or whenever. Gurli & her staff are very welcoming and treat you very nice. A great place to stay!!
Peace & Quiet in the Heart of P-Town

I notice that the handful of average to negative reviews are from several years ago, so I can't say what it was like then but, as of August 2018, The Lotus Guest House was perfect for me & my travel bud best friend. I'd only been to P-town once decades ago on a day trip while living in Boston, so this really was like a first time. Julie & her wonderful staff of Greg, Victor & Michael were warm, welcoming, kind, accommodating & helpful. We lucked out with fantastic weather all 5 days. Although the inn has only an office & small outdoor common breakfast porch & lovely little garden seating area, the rooms are immaculate & tastefully decorated & we didn't mind that there was no lobby lounge. Our room had a cozy & sunny bay window seating area. There is so much to do in P-town that, once again, we did not mind not having a common lounge area inside the inn. Even though my room faced the Portuguese Bakery (YUMMY!!) on the hustle bustle pedestrian friendly Commercial St., it was always pretty quiet in my room. There is a very, very nice clothing store on the street level of the inn. There are certainly many very nice small to large inns & some hotels in P-town, but I'd not hesitate to be a regular guest at The Lotus. We had wanted a room with 2 beds but that room was booked so Julie kindly accommodated us with a large room with king bed & the adjacent single queen bed room with a door between that we were able to keep open or close for our individual privacy. The bathroom was lovely with a beautiful spacious shower stall. The complimentary soap, shampoo & conditioner was fine quality with a lovely subtle fragrance. They also provide nice fluffy white towels. If you are going to beach or Boat Slip pool, The Lotus provides nice beach towels, beach chairs & bicycles to take to beach or pool. The continental breakfast is nice (muffins, bagels, croissants, hard boiled eggs, yogurt etc. along with coffee/tea & OJ). If you want a more substantial breakfast there are many places nearby, not to mention the fabulous Portuguese Bakers directly across from The Lotus. I would not hesitate to stay at The Lotus Guest House again & would happily recommend it.
