3 rooms and some gaslighting later...

I was 9 hours into a 20 hour road-trip and at 11pm at night was ready to call it quits. I called the property directly for a reservation. Check in was easy, location easy to find. When given my 1st room, the lights did not work. Went up to the fd and the gentleman said it was something about how housecleaning turned them off, but that he'd put me in another room. So he put me right across the hall from the 1st room. Simple enough.
The lights worked fine, and I put my belonging on 1 bed and start to pull the blankets back from the other to go to sleep. Low and behold, there's some hair and mystery chunks under the covers. It's late, I think not a big deal, accidents happen, there's a whole other bed. Right? Wrong!
I then turn to the other bed, noticing the cigarette burns in a non smoking room, and move the other pillow to the side of the bed I wanted only to stop dead in my tracks. It looked like someone had popped a squat and peed all over the dang thing. There was a pee pillow on my bed! Nasty.
But that unfortunately was not the end of it.
For some reason I still pulled back the blankets on the bed to find what I can only assume was a wadded up used tissue. Someone obviously had a better time in this bed than I was ever gonna get close to. Double Nasty.
I called up to the fd again, and got some excuse about new house cleaning girls, and was then put in a musty smelling king room upstairs. But at least the bed looked clean.
I called the next day, after noon like instructed by the new FD agent, to speak t the MGR, and immediately got gaslit about my reservation. She said "Well what do you expect when coming in late" and then "but you still stayed didn't you?"
Yes, because it was the middle of the night in the middle of the mountains and I was dead tired.
I'm not one to complain, I work in the hotel/ hospitality industry, I know accidents happen. It actually took me a few weeks to drum up the nerve to write this review because I know how bad they can be. But the quality of this hotel is not acceptable. And the service I received after such issues was not acceptable. and the 15$ credit I received for having a pee stained pillow and a used masturbation tissue in my bed, was not acceptable.

Just a heads up for other travelers out there, go elsewhere.

Hotel staff was exceptional. Jeff and Shad were the best we’ve ever encountered in any motel stay. The girls were great, too. No problems with getting the room on a nightly basis. Would stay again!!!!

Staff is friendly and the hotel is one of the cleanest around! Makes you feel so comfortable and the chair in the room was awesome! They use sanitation bags on the phones and remotes like the Hilton does. Their just so clean and I was shocked. Very good stay!

Was very pleased with the staff! Accommodated my peculiar situation and made us feel very welcome! Will choose this hotel for future travel and will highly recommend to family and friends! Thank you!!

This property is clean and the staff are very helpful and kind. The location is great and can access the sounding area within minutes. Breakfast is weak, but it is continental. Their only flaw is continued connection of their internet. Constantly kicks in and out.
