Comfortable hotel with all amenities in great location
We have stayed here a number of times over the years and the hotel always provides a quiet, comfortable room. The room is large and while the property is now a bit dated as to in-tub shower, it is immaculate and well-located with an excellent dining room serving great breakfasts, buffets, and menu options. The lounge is the best ever! It is a traditional lounge with lots of comfortable seating in a quiet setting great for conversation. The hotel is located near Bower Place Mall and on the main road into Red Deer. Best place to stay in Red Deer!
Best Steak Sandwich in town
Love this lounge wether by myself or night out with friends! Steak sandwich is their claim to fame both price wise ($12) and grilled just right! Quiet atmosphere, friendly service, clean and inviting!
Nice hotel, great staff in the bar, room comfortable. Downside is - parking lot has poor lighting, no cameras and no security patrolling when crime is known to be bad in Red Deer. Our vehicle was broken into and has $$$ of damage and items stolen. This could have been prevented if the hotel had upgraded their security. Front desk staff were not very friendly or supportive to our loss. Therefore I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The money you pay for a room, does not give you vehicle any kind of protection.
Fabulous as always
The best place in Red Deer for all your hotel needs, offers a beautiful dinning room as well as a friendly lounge. Banquet facilities to accommodate both large and small functions. It is also the home for CAT theatre, a local dinner theatre. ( I highly recommend this) great food and fabulous entertainment. And most of all “Clean a comfortable rooms”.
Alberta Road Trip
My Girlfriend and I where on our way from Edmonton to Calgary for a little Provincial vacation. First we spotted the Black Knight Inn and heard all about there amazing Steak Sandwich Lunch so we had to stop in. I will have to say it might be the best steak sandwich I have ever had! Once you walk into the Hotel you are blow away by the beauty and elegance of the front desk area. We met the General Manager of the hotel in the Lounge over lunch who came by to introduce herself. Her name is Dawn and just a pleasure to talk with. The feeling of being welcomed by the staff and management gave us some thoughts to stay the night and just enjoy our time in the lounge and on property. We had no need to rush home for anything. Dawn was not only hospitable but because both of us are in the hospitality industry, gave us a tour of the entire banquet facilities and it was just amazing. Room were gorgeous, clean and spacious. The one night stay turned into a two night stay. So glad we decided to stop for the steak sandwich and found a gem of a hotel. Highly recommended!!!!
