Motel 6 in richland review

Reviewed 4 july, 2020

I just got to my room. Not only is there no microwave or mini fridge. There are these below id like to share. This is just a standard visit booked the day before. Mind you i have done this 2 other times at the econo lodge and motel 6 both in Kennewick they were mostly great stays! Down below you will see the parts of my room. The pic of the lights is there is 2 different sets of bulbs the two are bright led and the one is orange ambience. I came in to half a roll of toilet paper. With an extra.. 🤦🏻‍♀️ The stand up shower door was stuck and i had to pry it open ... it is edged weird also the door itself is not properly installed. The bottom drain is cracked with orange and yellow there are cracks on the floor and on the night stands. I looked up after coming out of the bathroom to an earwig crawling on the table the air conditioner needs a serious update looks like someone tried to put a couch in here and left it sitting on the air conditioner so the black is all scratched off. Oml guys this is my first time staying here and the only time. I do not recommend this place until they can learn to update for an actual stay.

Long Term Viable

Reviewed 20 october, 2019

I was in the Tri-cities for several weeks and needed inexpensive lodging. This place met the criteria. The room was clean, which met the need for a place to sleep. The plumbing was marginal because of water flow restrictors. The facility was monitored by local police during the day. Because of inexpensive cost, the clientele was more colorful. The staff, for the most part, was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again given the same criteria, but I'd look elsewhere were family involved. Understand, no frig, microwave, etc. It is plain Jane digs.

Small but clean

The front desk clerk was very nice. Room was small but clean. Everything worked as it should. The AC worked well to keep the room cool despite the hot summer weather. Would stay there again if we were to visit the area.

Good value for the price

A standard Motel 6 that has been recently refreshed. The beds were good and the room clean. It was a little too easy to hear the upstairs renters, but other than that, the location was quiet. Bring your own shampoo and hair dryer. The free Wifi was working, but the ice machine was not.

Traveling on a Budget

Reviewed 17 september, 2018

From time to time, my wife and I make quick trips on a budget. This last weekend was one of those times. We stayed in the Motel 6 in Richland-Kennewick, Washington. Note that this is a "no frills" location; no iron, no hairdryer, no personal sundries - nothing. But the bed was reasonably comfortable, the room was clean (although tiny in anyone's book), the shower provided plenty of hot water, the water pressure was acceptable, the TV worked, the staff members were pleasant and friendly, and the level of service was acceptable. For example, in our reservation, I asked for a room for a partially disabled person. They met the request exactly as made, although the room was a lot smaller than we expected due to the square footage being allocated for facilities for the disabled. Best of all, the price was perfect for those on a budget; in fact, the lowest price we found in the area. Note that Richland hotels and motels can be quirky. Reservations are a must. When activities take place in the area, rooms throughout the city sell out. In the past, we have had to stay as far away as Yakima due to the absence of available facilities. But if you bring along your own supplies for virtually everything you need, and if you consider your hotel or motel as being nothing but a bed for the night and a shower for the morning, the Motel 6 in Richland-Kennewick is a good alternative for the budget minded.
