Nuestra estancia en Richmond harbor Hotel fue un excelente , desde la calida bienvenida de parte de Francesco
las habitaciones comodas , calidad en amenities confortable , pasamos unos dias muy comodos como en casa ,
una excelente opción!!!!

Solo estuvimos una noche pero la atención fue espectacular. la habitación muy bien equipado con todo lo necesario y mas. jarra eléctrica, cafetera con capsulas, sillones muy comodos, excelente ropa de cama. eso se complementó con un restaurante muy bueno en atención y comida. también el desayuno muy bien atendido y servido. Francesco fue un excelente anfitrión que hasta hablaba español.

Although we arrived before check in time and asked to leave the car in their car park nothing was to much trouble for them and the had a room ready for us. The room was exceptional newly decorated with all you come to expect from a 1st class hotel.
The Bar Restaurant and the patio dining area were spacious and covid safe as we're all of the areas in the hotel. Afternoon tea and dinner were very nice as was breakfast.
The location at the top of Richmond hill gave easy access to some spectacular walks.
All in all we had a marvelous time

My fiancé & I have just returned from a 2 night last minute break at The Richmond Harbour Hotel. We wanted to take the time to write a review because we have received absolutely outstanding service, something that is sadly quite rare these days.
After a rather problematic journey we were greeted with warmth & friendliness by the staff on reception.
We arrived at a particularly busy period & the car park was already full. We were directed to the hotel next door where an arrangement between the two hotels had been made, plus a number of alternative solutions.
Unfortunately the hotel next door did not offer the same level of hospitality & we were rudely received & told we were not able to park overnight - parking was for guests of their hotel only.
We asked if they offered a grace period so we could at least drop off our luggage & we were told that we couldn’t & we had been captured on camera & will be charged if we don’t leave.
Thankfully we were able to secure paid parking nearby.
Returning to the hotel we explained that the receptionist of the hotel next door didn’t seem to know anything about the arrangement for parking. Rachel (Reception Manager) was sincerely apologetic & somewhat surprised, so kindly gifted us complimentary breakfast for the convenience- which of course was no fault of The Richmond Harbour Hotel.
This was a lovely touch & compensated us for the cost of parking.
We were shown to a beautiful room, completely as described, elegantly furnished & well appointed. Unfortunately we quickly discovered that there was no water working from the tap or bath. But, upon reporting this to reception, once again Rachel & her team were incredibly apologetic & had this seen to immediately whilst we had lunch on the terrace, it was just a minor water pressure issue.
Given the mini heatwave, when we returned to our room we turned on the A/C to find that it was pouring water on to the carpet - we put an ice bucket underneath & again reported the issue to reception. Another minor issue that was completely unforeseen. But the team on reception again were incredibly apologetic- they weren’t able to move us to another room because the hotel was full, but offered to move us the next day. The young man on reception offered us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco to have on the terrace before we retired for the evening. Which was a lovely touch.
Rachel & her team went out of their way to provide us with a beautiful room the following morning, of which we had a choice. Rachel gifted us complimentary cocktails & offered us a discount on an additional night- which we gratefully accepted until work put a spanner in the works.
Little issues like this can happen anywhere, the important thing is how the staff deal with it. Rachel & her team were exceptional & it reminded us that good old fashioned service does still exist, you just have to know where to find it. We wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else in Richmond. The hotel is beautiful, the beds are incredibly comfortable & the staff are the best we’ve seen for a long time. These experiences could have led to a rather unpleasant stay had we been in another hotel, but they had little impact on our time there due to the efforts of the wonderful staff at Richmond Harbour Hotel.

A luxurious oasis of calm at the heart of richmond

I booked a 2 nights stay for my girlfriend and I to celebrate our 3 years anniversary. The staff on the phone were extremely kind and helpful throughout the process. I had booked a stay including SPA treatments, which unfortunately couldn't be delivered as the SPA refurbishment works had taken longer than expected. We promptly got confirmation of a 10% discount in addition to the SPA treatment costs being taken off our bill and a room upgrade. Our room was marvelous, the bed was the most comfortable bed we had ever slept in and the Italian shower has been a real delight. The Gate restaurant is a secluded, private space at the heart of the hotel and includes a wonderful terrace with shaded areas when the sun hits. One of the plus points of the hotel is its proximity to Richmond park (it is adjacent to one of the entry gates) and the Thames. The discretion and politeness of the hotel and restaurant staff made us forget about covid. We have replenished ourselves and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the lovely stay.
