Pool was closed, doing a lot of remodeling, Delta Covid but besides all that not the problem. The people in the pool area with a bong was a concern. The lights in our room once they shut off didn’t come back on, there was a constant water dripping coming from somewhere all night. Breakfast not good, food not completely cooked. Have stayed here usually on the way to Florida but will not stay again

They claim to be renovating i had the worse experience they knew we were coming as a group needing 30 rooms my stay was anything but good and all the hotels were booked due to an event that weekend. I’ll never visit again and as a honors member knowing they have a lyson clean stay contract and my room but anything but that

The place was not maintained well. My room was musty, the carpets were dirty stains were visible in the hallway and in my room. The pillows were flimsy and smelly. I requested new pillows and never received them. The shower curtain was stinky. There was trash that was not picked up quickly the trash was in the hallway and in the parking lot. For example a Domino’s pizza box sat by the side entrance for 3 days!!! The Bedskirt was on top of my bed.

Taking the grandkids to Orlando, stopping for the night. Homewood Suites has a good reputation. I have lodged in several before with good results. Someone forgot to tell this particular Homewood Suites in Ridgeland MS that they should have some modicum of hospitality.
The suite we booked was under construction so we were given two rooms. The first was ok but showing its age. The second reeked of stale cigarette smoke. I asked Jalisha, the on duty desk clerk, for a different room. The next room had the windows wide open and the heater set for 80 degrees. Stifling for a July. It also smelled of mold, enough to cause a sneezing fit. But wait, there’s more!
Having been cooped up in the car, all the kids want is to go swimming. They don their suits and we escort them to the pool, which was locked. Jalisha to the rescue to unlock and let the kids in. Oops, several problems. #1 No key to be had, #2, maintenance is gone for the day and #3, the pool is an amazing shade of “crocodile poop green”, according to the 9 year old. Jalisha informed us that it was shocked yesterday. Grand, I’ll just jump over the fence and swim in this festering pool of bacteria. Jalisha did offer to reduce the bill.
I requested Jalisha call other Hilton hotels nearby for available rooms and requesting her hold a room for us. I told her I didn’t want to pay extra for the next Hilton motel. At first she didn’t want to do that but finally agreed.
We pack up the kids and drive several miles to the Embassy suites nearby. Oh, I forgot to tell you that a room wasn’t held, just that they had available rooms. Since no advance reservations, full price was paid. Way to go Hilton! Get ‘em coming and going.
Honestly, this was the worse experience of my life. Hilton should be ashamed of the way we were treated. Jalisha tried her best but she was shackled by a substandard motel with uncaring manager and maintained everything crew.
Avoid at all costs!

My room was giving away after I completed mobile check in and received a room assignment. Upon arrival I received a smaller, strong wet odor, electrical shortages room. The staff attempted to say that I never booked and confirmed the larger room 3 month prior to arrival. I showed the staff my email confirmation. The staff member only replied the room was giving away by another staff member and we don’t have anymore room that size available. I was stuck with the dissatisfied room, because hotel space through out the city was sold out due to several large city events.
