Poor Hotel Management -unfriendly staff and 0 accountability for errors

The owner of this hotel is extremely rude and does not take accountability for his hotel’s errors. We booked a tour through the hotel to Isla Grande and the concierge accidentally booked us on a tour to Arraial do Cabo. Not only did the hotel not take responsibility for their error, they refused to compensate me for the extra night I had to stay to take the tour on another day. While trying to resolve this issue, the owner hid in the back room while his concierge dealt with us. Extremely disappointed in the customer service and management of this hotel. Do not stay here! Staff is unfriendly, do not communicate between each other and do not speak English. I would expect more from this hotel considering their prices.
High value for price

Dont expect a five star hotel - of course it is not luxury, but is it clean, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is good - and the location is amazing. For this price the value you get is very high

Last week we spent two nights at this hotel in an ocean front room. The view was great, but the room itself plain. There was no carpet, presumably to deal with beach sand.A small mini-fridge as there with room to stock with groceries from nearby store. The shower was large, with a good supply of hot water. Amenities were at a minimum- no hand towel, cheap soap. The reception was nice as were the workers there. The front veranda was nicely fit with an oversized picnic table and many lounging chairs. Quite nice. For the price we paid, this is a good value.
Best price quality safety

The hotel is great and located in the safest spot in Barra. If you want to enjoy the beach, you are at the correct place. Better to walk to your left direction to Rio city. Don't forget, the opportunity makes the Thief. Leave valuable items in the hotel or out of sight. Ideal also for families with children. One thing that can be improved is offering fresh made juice during breakfast. Everything else top. I recommend rooms facing towards the see.

Great hotel on the beach with a decent price (If you go through Expedia) when we got to the actual hotel & saw the price on the wall it was about triple the amount we paid. The showers were hard to work. We could only temperature was scolding hot for some reason. And we tried every combination of turns on the knobs. But this could've just been an issue in our room only. The included breakfast was average, same with wifi. The room we stayed in was clean and was perfect for 4. The location is really what sells it! Perfect location, we walked the streets looking for restaurants and shopping and did not once feel unsafe!
