1- the area is not in a touristic area but with restaurant and cafe in neighbourhood it was fine by me. because mostly in touristic area bars and restaurants are overprice. 2- breakfast was not match with a 4 star hotel. no sausages, olives, or bread variety. you don’t have many choices.
3- i am allowed to have a late check out for an hour, meanwhile i should sit in a dark room. the story is, i asked for late check out and receptions agreed but after 11 pm they turned off the lights! its not acceptable for me. I called reception and told them we are in room but they dident do anything about it.
4- the staffs were so rude. we stood in lobby in front of the reception desk and the girl was speaking on her own cellphone. i think most of the staffs should be trained again to do their duties.
5- they asked me for city tax, which i am totaly ok with that, but they dident even let me to talk about it and ask ! they just expect me to give the money and don't talk!
6- i was in rome before in a 3 star hotel and they treated me so much better than this 4stars hotel.
7- if u are worry about the size of the rooms like me, you can pay alittle more and take bigger room, the room was good with amenities you needed.
8- you can hear everything in your room, everything
9- we used fitness room, it was ok but with one airconditioner but they dident let us to work out after 9 pm because of making noises and bother the other rooms.
10- in total i dont recommend this hotel and if you have made your decision already, dont expect alot about this hotel

The hotel location is the biggest asset going for it. We stayed 5 nights on our multi-city Italian vacation. The hotel is within a walking distance of the Colosseum and Santa Maria Maggiore and Termini, Rome main train station. The metro is also outside the hotel. It costs 1.50 euros, 4 stops to the Spagna station for shopping, the Spanish steps, Pantheon and others. It is a 7 metro stops to the Vatican Museum and St. Peter Basilica.
It is clean and housekeeping did a decent job of cleaning the room daily. The hotel staff are friendly. The room is standard for an European city (we had the Superior room 515). We prepaid the hotel with all the applicable fees. However, at checkout, we were surprised by the additional 60 euros charge. This was not disclosed to us by the hotel or the 3rd party we booked the hotel through. We could have made a different decision knowing the full cost of the stay. That was the only thing we were unhappy about.
Hôtel really over rated , really noisy !! No noise isolation !

You can ear everything inside your room, not the noise from the street, but noise from escalator when people rise up, shower from other room, or when people are speaking or walking in their room, or when children are playing.
break fast is poor and low quality, may be good in the past but no more now.
I don’t advise it
30th Birthday July 2019

Stayed at Hotel Napoleon in July 2019 for my 30th birthday with family. Great stay, fab hotel & super friendly staff! Having seen my birthday cards when staff attended to clean our room on my birthday, surprise champagne & a lovely birthday note was sent up to our room! I still have the note! Such a thoughtful gesture which was very much appreciated, thanks again.
Nice basic hotel

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights on a city break recently.
Overall it was an enjoyable stay - staff were very friendly, our room was big & cleaned every day. Really good location too - right outside the tube and near to lots of amenities. Breakfast was adequate - lots of contents variety - cereal, pastries, cakes, yogurts, fruit etc.
There were however a few small downfalls for me. The lift is split into 2 (first one is from the ground to first floor, then second lift from first floor onwards). Although I found this a little odd the main thing was how quickly these lift doors closed. It’s a race against time to get 2 people in without the doors shutting which I think is a little hazardous (there are no sensors to stop this so once the doors close it’s game over!) We also came back one day to our windows open after the room was cleaned which wasn’t ideal as I ended up getting bitten a fair bit. Also could have done with more than one pillow waxh (but not a dealbreaker).
Would stay here again - basic hotel which serves a purpose and is in a good location.
