No he conocido muchos B&B, aunque realmente leyendo experiencias aquí escritas me esperaba otra cosa.
Cozy rooms for couples😍
Nice family driven B&B. Clean and quiet. Good breakfast, fruit, juice, croiasant, espresso a la carte. Near Metro A and Vatican. Bath with tub, but shared. Beds nice but pillows are hard. Nice warm room.
Le Tare B&B
I stayed here three days in October 2016 where i was lucky enough to have a few lovely hot days. Marianna was lovely and welcoming and stayed late when my transport was delayed and supplied an extra early breakfast on day of departure which was not expected. The breakfast was delicious and presented so nicely, served on the little private terrace and a great start to the day. I stayed in a single room with no bathroom but this was never a problem and the bathroom was very clean and well stocked with shower gel etc... Room was lovely and clean with a wardrobe and t.v..I stayed in the room furthest away from the bathroom which had the advantage of not hearing people going in and out. Great location for the Vatican and easy to get to the metro for all other sights. Definitely recommend and would definitely return. Report
Le Tare B&B
I can't believe I didn't write this review when I was there (May 2013), was looking to go back to Rome and was checking the rates and noticed I forgot to review this B&B. Le Tare is a clean, pleasant B&B. I wouldn't stay there with my wife, It is a little too spartan for her taste and the fact that it has shared facilities is another drawback for her. I on the other hand would sleep on a park bench so it was fine for me. You fill out a card with what you want for a continental style breakfast and it's delivered to your veranda in the morning. It was the usual fare like fruit, yogurt, coffee, croissants etc. The T.V. was about 15" and the broadcasts were completely in Italian which considering I was in Italy was what I expected. There was a little bit of a language barrier with the proprietors (who aren't there too much except in the morning) which I found a little strange because I think a large part of their customer base spoke English, again, not a big deal and as I found out in Rome not a lot of people spoke English or made an effort to try to understand my horrific Google translated Italian, but you know what they say, when in Rome, speak Italian!!! It is located close to the Cipro Metro station and is close (roughly 1.5 mi) to the Vatican. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance and a great cafe at the bottom of the street which is right next to a nice supermarket so if you need any toiletries, snacks etc. it's a short walk and a quick espresso away. So if you don't mind a small, quiet, minimalist, almost adult hostel type of place you will like it here. I really have nothing bad to say about the place, it is as advertised on their website.
Good place to stay near to Vatican
intial expectation from B&B in Rome based on my last visit was not that great and this time I was travelling with a kid so was hoping for a little bit more flexibility. we had a horrible start to the holiday with missing our flight and then landing up late in Rome, Marianna was very understanding and accommodating and stayed up till late at night to let us in the place. The place gives a personal touch to your visit the room that we had was pretty much contained to a bed and a wardrobe the best part was the flexibility on the breakfast options you want ( a note of caution please be absolutely clear on what you want don't assume) if you don't ask for butter you wont get it !. the food was freshly made and is made based on when you ask for it, we were leaving early on the last day and even being a sunday we got our breakfast made earlier for us which was great. The best part is in the BnB the breakfast on a good day is served outside your room in the open area which is quite unique compared to traditional BnB which was a nice touch. Would recommend this place if your main place is the Vatican as it is very close and walk-able. Also the metroline is 5 minutes away and very handy, also make a note of the buses that stop as sometimes that is a more convenient way of getting back rather than taking the metro
