Not what we expected…

When we arrived, there were only a double bed (and not enough towels etc.) in our room, even though we booked a TRIPLE room. When we came to the reception, we were told, that it was our fault, because we hadn’t mentioned, that we needed three beds. We are three people, who booked and paid for a triple room, so it definitely hasn’t been our fault… after some discussions it was possible to get a third „bed“, which was really horrible to sleep in.
Then we booked the Vatican Experience for 109€/person. On the website of the hotel it says that there is a guided tour through the Vatican museums, the Sistine chapel AND St. Peter. In fact, the guided tour, which was in fact very good and interesting though, ended after the Sistine chapel. At the reception we were told, that the church was free to visit, which may be true, but a „guided tour“, like it was offered on your site, would easily cost 20€/person, so it’s definitely not the same. The stuff at the reception was not quite helpful in general. The breakfast was quite good, even though the atmosphere in the room was really loud and noisy. Very sad and not worth a four star hotel.
Convenient and Relaxing

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a week. It was close to the train station which had a direct train from the airport. The staff was kind and professional, both in the reception, hallway, and in the dining area. Overall there's only one thing that makes me put in 4 stars instead of 5. There were few power outlets in the room and only one was working. It didn't make the trip impossible but we had to adjust a bit more in who's turn it is to charge their phone + the power bank as this is essential when traveling for us.
Outdated hotel, great location

The hotel is very outdated, air conditioning is poor, only 2 wall power outlets in the room. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was very nice though! The location was about 15-20 minutes walking from the coliseum.

We were relocated to an another hotel of the same chain with "4 stars". The hotel is very far from the 4 stars hotel standard as known in another countries (obviously because Italy has different prescriptions for the star-system for hotels). The location and stuff are the only two positive sides of the hotel. It is very central and the stuff is very friendly and professional, especially the stuff in the breakfast room!
The room is equipped with old furniture, the wallpapers are old and smelling of dust, the bed is cracking all the night, the carpet is very old. With completely closed windows the noises from the street were still very loud. We cannot find any working channel on the TV, not even Italian. The shower cabin is very small. A perfect place to spoil your vacation in Rome. A very disappointing experience.
Good location - but old rooms

Friendly & helpful staff. The location is ideal, if you want to explore Rome. The next Metro station is close by and you can do many places by foot (if you’re not lazy).
The hotel is quite old and we got a really old room. Nothing like the rooms you see on the homepage. A renovation is urgently needed!
