Disgusting service

Reviewed 10 june, 2021

I had booked a stay for my partners 30th birthday back in April 2020 but due to corona this was unable to happen. Flights were cancelled so we had to cancel the hotel too! We couldn’t get a response from email for weeks so no one answered. We requested a refund as being in the dark and not knowing what was happening with covid and the rules we didn’t know when and if we could get out to this hotel. We were denied a refund and offered a 1 year voucher! Which at the time I wasn’t happy about as I was furloughed and struggling to pay my bills , again I emailed the hotel and asked for a refund as this money could have really helped me. The “voucher” offered had run over its 1 year but I had managed to book a flight at the beginning of July 2021 so I asked to book a room so I could use my voucher … again flights cancelled due to uncertainty or rules and flying . I am not unemployed as have been made redundant which I have informed the hotel but they just keep saying they offered me as an “exception” a refund! This is not an exception we’ve been going through a global pandemic. How can I be denied a REFUND? Disgusting , unprofessional & unhelpful service. £600-£700 is a lot of money!!

Don't go to FourHeads Private suites in Corona times because they take advantage of the Corona pandemic

Reviewed 25 october, 2020

Indeed: it is and remains one’s own choice and it is also at one’s own risk to travel to Italy in Corona times - especially when Italy promoted and encouraged tourism again, because numbers of Corona infections went down after months of lockdown. However, in October the government in Italy and the Netherlands announced stricter national measures 4 days before our travel date to Rome (27 Oct). So we as 60+ travelers were faced with a dilemma: do we choose our health or do we choose the money? Free of charge cancellation was no longer possible. Surely this accommodation should be able to understand this dilemma? Nope, not FOURHEADS Private Suites – not even when in the news and media it became clear there are mass and explosive increases of Corona infections and hospital admissions all over Italy. And on top the restriction that ALL restaurants in Italy have to close at 6:00 pm - which is precisely what the tourist wants to enjoy when going to Italy. A nice gesture from FOURHEADS Private Suites would have been if they had offered a date change or voucher as an option, because we really understand that pre-booked hotels cannot offer a full refund of the travel sum at such short notice. But no, that was not the policy of "management" ... they said there were still Dutch tourists who had not cancelled and would come, so my request for a date change or voucher was categorically rejected - bad choice of management policy, dear FourHeads Management. We are in this world Corona pandemic together and also to help each other and not make abuse of the pandemic, so unfortunately I cannot but publish a bad review as a result and choose a different accommodation for our postponed city trip to Rome next year.

Perfect Location

Reviewed 13 september, 2020

We arrived late evening so were given instructions on how to enter the hotel and obtain key to the room which was stress free and easy enough. The room is big, spacious and modern. I would give the room 10/10 however unfortunately a few things let the room down. When I pulled back to duvet to get into bed I did find a few hairs inside which put me off laying in the duvet so I spent the 3 nights on the outside of the covers! In addition to this there was no iron in the room and the suites does not have someone there 24/7 so the next day we had to come back to the hotel when staff were working to ask for an iron which was annoying. There is tea/coffee and a kettle but unfortunately no milk which meant we couldn’t use these. It is a shame this brought my overall rating down as the location is perfect. 5-10 minutes walk from Pantheon and Trevi Fountain and the rooms are modern and overall clean apart from hairs in the bed.

Perfect overnight hotel

Reviewed 16 september, 2019

We stayed at Fourheads private suites for 1 night in August during a quick trip to Rome. It is located in the perfect place (4 mins walk to Spanish Stairs, 10 seconds to Giolitti Gelateria). The room was just beautiful and perfect for what we needed. Lovely shower! The finishes are fantastic and modern. We really liked that we could choose our breakfast and it was delivered to our room. Check-in/ out was very easy and you can do it yourself. The hotel was available for any problems. We would stay again!

Very nice, great location

Reviewed 20 april, 2019

It's a B&B with very nice and large rooms (I had jacuzzi in the room). Personnel is very kind - present only in the morning, but they easily arrange afternoon/late check-in. Breakfast was good and offered in the room as there is no common space outside for it. The location is in the city centre, close to many political and historical monuments. Price/quality is worth and reccommended.
