Hard to find, but excellent

Reviewed 5 march, 2020

This is my top one hotel in Rome after a numerous visits to the Eternal City. The little hotel is situated just a few hundred meters from Pantheon ja Piazza Navona, but the location is hard to find in a very narrow side street. The staff is very friendly. Last time I got a room with a balcony and a wonderful sight over the roofs. I like to return here time after another if there are rooms available.

Great basic hotel in the center of Rome. Clean, with helpful staff.

I stayed in Due Torri in late January 2020 and it is a great basic hotel for travelers who wish to stay in the very center of Rome and walk to historic sites. It is a short walk to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon and very close to shopping areas. This is a small hotel, VERY clean and tidy. The best part of the hotel stay was the front desk staff....Laura, Mario, Aldo and Jaime were superb and always helpful. They will book taxis for you or a private car to the airport, which was very reasonable. They also know good restaurants within walking distance. I was very pleased that Cinzia, the owner approached me one morning to say hello and welcome me to the hotel. The rooms are basic, with a comfortable bed and nice linens. The area was very quiet as there is not much traffic on the tiny streets of the neighborhood, though you can walk a few blocks to catch a city bus if you need to. The WiFi was free and worked very well. I would recommend bringing your own shampoo, conditioner and soaps. If you forgot these items, there is a CarreFour shop and a pharmacy around the corner to buy them. You won't find a fitness center, business center, fancy robes or slippers here. What you will find is a reasonably priced hotel in an excellent location with super friendly and helpful people to assist you in every way possible.

A hidden gem

This grand old lady is hidden in an alley. Don't be put off. This means you get a quiet room! The hotel is ideally situated within walking distance of Rome's best sites and Hop On Hop Off Bus stops. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our rooms is spacious, the bathroom spotless with big soft towels and the beds are very comfy. I have also enjoyed a gluten free breakfast which is very important because, as a coeliac, I don't want to spend half the morning trying to find somewhere I can eat. We appreciated the use of a comfortable lounge area. I would definitely come again.

Excellent Little Hotel

Reviewed 21 december, 2019

This hotel is tucked away in a quaint lane about a 3 or 4 minute walk from Piazza Navona. It is very clean and comfortable with very helpful staff. It's location is great as it is in the historic centre of Rome and providing you are reasonably fit you can easily walk to virtually all of the main tourist attractions. I only had a single room and although small it was adequate for me and who wants to spend much time in the hotel room when in Rome! There are numerous restaurants/ cafes very close to the hotel so the lack of a restaurant and bar are not drawbacks. Just on a side note and reading some of the other reviews, I wonder how guests get to know the names etc of the staff? I'm sure most of the time they make nuisances of themselves constantly chatting. There are enough things to do in Rome without spending half your time disturbing staff who need to get on with their jobs. Just a thought!!

Very pleasant stay

Room was quiet but small, but this was compensated for by a very large terrace reserved for the occupant of the room. Breakfast was fine but not notable. Location was excellent and the staff quite wonderful and always willing to help.
