Very noisy
The staff was friendly and the location very good just a few minutes walk from Termini station. What made me disapponted was that the hotel was full of Spanish teenagers, a group after another and they were very noisy during the night. You could hardly sleep! So if you would also like to sleep sometimes when in Rome don´t choose this hotel. I strongly recommend this after a numerous visits to the Eternal City.
Hotel Noto
Went on a trip with my college, and Hotel Noto’s brilliant services were part of the unforgettable experience, very cozy room with great facilities and a very great breakfast choice every morning and an amazing view out of our bedroom window
Noisy at night
Hotel was clean and had good breakfasts, but there were two issues: one was that there was no shower curtain, meaning that all the towels, toilet rolls and toiletries got soaked, unless you held the shower head in your hand - very awkward. Second was the noise at night. The first night I was woken several times, with noise unacceptably loud at 2.30am and 4.45am - (Spanish) students partying. The last night the room opposite me had (more Spanish) students shouting loudly at 2.45am. I was leading a school trip, so I know what you have to do to ensure students are quiet and considerate.
Very disappointing
Came here with a group tour through Explorica. Normally the rooms they book are in affordable 3-4 star hotels. This is nowhere near in the same league. Decor is dated, beat up, and dirty. Threadbare curtains, marks and dirt on walls, sticky spots on furniture. Bathroom a not clean. Found hairs on my sheets. Teenagers (not from our group) running the halls, shouting, smoking in rooms, spitting out windows. And all this carried on until well past midnight. Sleep interrupted by the sounds of drunken vomiting and crying from room next door heard through paper thin walls. The staff was completely unresponsive to complaints and almost seemed annoyed at me for complaining. The hotel does not feel safe in general. We booked for four nights and left after one. Had to another hotel.
Bad...
I went with my classmates for a final year trip, and we decided to go to Rome. When we arrived, the expectatives that I had of it gone down a lot. The decoration is not nice, it is so old and it is not welcoming at all, the bedrooms were also cold, the beds uncomfortable and the furniture, in my opinion, antiquated, and some were beaten, besides, the shower doesn’t have partition and a curtain. Within what is, breakfast wasn’t bad at all, although some foods tasted bad and there was very little variety. Also, the personal wasn’t unfriendly but neither nice. The only advantage I find is the location, it is not so far from the centre. In conclusion, the truth it is that I don’t recommend it all, but if you are going to Rome few days and you want an hotel just for sleep (not eat) and not to spend a lot of time on it, maybe this is what you are looking for, because it is basically near the centre and it is not so expensive. Anyway, I think there are hotels that meet these qualities and are so much better than this.
