Great host make the stay wonderful!

Reviewed 16 october, 2022

The room is comfortable with an updated bathroom. You really get a feeling that you are a resident of Rome and a real experience there. The hosts/owners are great and VERY helpful. We left our passports in the room and they shipped them to us in the Italian Rivera via express mail. I loved the authentic experience, cleanliness, and location.

Great B&B in a good neighborhood.

Reviewed 13 august, 2021

This B&B was amazing, the staff was friendly and very helpful. They recommended great places to visit and eat around the neighborhood. Overall the B&B was very clean and sanitized as well as spacious. This is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

Close and Comfortable

Reviewed 29 january, 2020

We could not have asked for better hosts. Giuseppe and Veronica were amazing at making us feel welcome, and were more than willing to give excellent advice on where to go and what to do. The room was clean and spacious, including heating and a safe, and the beds were very comfortable. Most of all the location is great. Just outside the city centre itself to have some calm and quiet, yet still close enough to all amenities incl. transport, restaurants and shops/pharmacies. I highly recommend La Breccia a Porta Pia to all visitors who fancy a visit to Rome and its wonders.

Refurbished mansion managed by the nicest family

Reviewed 8 january, 2020

Large rooms with high ceilings and flat TVs. The location is a bit off city center, but that is a blessing once the crowds overwhelm you. Best of all, the staff: Giuseppe, Veronica and David, they are very pleasant and put an honest effort to meet your needs and make you happy. The only reason I do not give a 5 star rating is because there are some details in some of the rooms that still have to be improved, but having witnessed the effort and love they put in it, most likely all is perfect now. The breakfast is excellent too!

Great B&B Run by a Such Pleasant Family!

Reviewed 12 november, 2019

In Oct 2019, I spent one week at La Breccia a Porta Pia. My intention was to be away from the tourist crowd but still close enough to visit all the amazing sites in Rome. Mr. Giuseppe, his son Davide and his daughter Veronica were so welcoming, such nice hosts, always asking me if everything was fine with a nice smile. Do not expect a 5-Star hotel. This is a B&B place with no doorman, but it is of a great value for what you pay versus what you get: excellent and safe location with a continental cafe served daily in the morning, local restaurants, cafes, supermarket, pharmacy, art gallery, ice cream & gelato store, fruit kioski and the bus and tram stops just around the corner. You can also find a laundry just about 1 1/2 block, the Policlinico subway stop about 10-min walk and much more. I felt myself like living in Rome as a local! I loved staying at La Breccia a Porta Pia and will stay again there during my next trip to Rome.
