Perfectly located!
I said excellent but hubby was not in agreement as he have COPD and there is no elevator. HOWEVER, I will recommend it again and again as it is so well situated (1 block away from Piazza Navona), and surrounded by excellent restaurants. Our room was spotless and very quiet despite the animation there was outside. Finally, special thanks to Marco for his warm greeting, the information provided and coordinating our transfers from and to the airport. We really enjoyed our short stay in Roma.
Great Location!
Want to be within steps of Piazza Navona? Then this is your hotel! Spacious rooms that are tastefully decorated provide a comfortable home base from which to explore Rome. Within steps of several great restaurants, shops and bars. Marcus and his family went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay and that all of our needs were met. We highly recommend this spot and would definitely stay here again if we ever have the chance to visit Rome again! Grazie!!
Perfect location, wonderful host
The family quad was perfect for my wife, two grown children and I. Central to everything, the hotel is on a charming street right off Piazza Navona. The host, Christine, was very helpful in making reservations and Marco went out of his way to offer help and advice, especially when part of our party was delayed by more than 24 hours. Up three flight of stairs so you have be able to make the climb and the shower is pretty small so be aware of that. everything about our stay was terrific. Highly recommend!
Great, unfussy, central apartment
Fantastic stay here. We stayed a few nights in the larger downstairs 2 bedroom apartment, then decided to stay on for longer rather than moving to our second location because it was simply so great and convenient we didn’t want to move. We then moved to a smaller room upstairs. Marco was very easy to contact on What’s App during our stay. Marco and his dad organised for our new room to have a microwave because we needed to sometimes heat up our own food for dietary reasons. They actually went out and bought a new microwave and installed it for us - that’s pretty great service! We also accidentally left a phone in the car that they ordered for us from the airport. Within about 20 minutes Marco had the driver bring it back. At one point the shower played up and Marco was swift about organising for it to be fixed. Just very fair and helpful people! I can’t remember the name of the lady who cleans the rooms but I think it was Natalia. She was so lovely and kind. Two tips: 1) Our first night here was La Befana and the noise from the street was VERY LOUD. I was worried that every night was going to be like that. However, every other night was TOTALLY quiet. So if you are in town for a major holiday, bring ear plugs. 2) I suggest contacting the hotel directly for queries about your booking. They seemed to appreciate that and it had benefits for us.
Fab room and so central!
Lovely rooms in a gorgeous townhouse right in the bustling centre of Rome- one street from Piazza Navona. Marco was so helpful- at arrival he took time to show us where everything was on the map, which proved invaluable as we walked everywhere in the city. The room was up three flights of steps, so be aware if you have mobility issues, but it wasn't an issue for us. The hotel is near some lovely restaurants but do also try the ones Marco recommends in other areas of Rome- we walked to one on the other side of the river (which incidentally is very near the hotel) and it was super, as were his other recommendations. Breakfast is at a lovely cafe two doors down- great choice of pastries with coffee and juice. We'll definitely be back and recommend the Navona Tower Relais highly for those seeking a room in the heart of Rome!
