Amazing place!

We stayed here for a small week and this was the ideal place to do so! The location is great, really close to all the places we wanted to visit. There were also a lot of great restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing!

We loved our stay, the location was close to all the things we wanted to visit. All within walking distance, but the hotel itself was in a nice and quiet neigbourhood. The staff were super friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Rome location

Reviewed 17 april, 2022

We stayed here from April 12-15, 2022. The location can't be beat. 15 minutes to Trastevere and the Vatican, and about 20 minutes to Trevi, Spanish Steps, and maybe 25-30 minutes to Colosseum (we didn't go there this time so I am estimating.) It is in the Ponte/Parione neighborhood with its own great selection of restaurants. The hotel is older, but we had a nice size room, and Asci as the front desk was exceedingly helpful on everything.

In the middle of everything but off the beaten path

Reviewed 9 january, 2022

This was our second time staying at the Relais Giulia and we very much enjoyed it. This time we had Room 402: a small quiet double overlooking a rear airshaft. What we most like about the hotel is its location: on the suggestive and quiet Via Giulia but within convenient walking distance of so many sites. Corso Vit. Emanuelle II is just two blocks away with buses (including express buses) that go wherever needed. The room was very clean and the service was excellent. In particular, the front desk staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and were very much available if we needed anything. All our emails prior to arrival were responded to very promptly. We didn't have breakfast there given the number of bars and pastry shops nearby. We very much appreciated the number of great restaurants within easy walking distance. We didn't have any problems with the electronic security system and appreciated not needing to worry about carrying a key with us.

Locked out of room in the middle of the night

Reviewed 21 november, 2021

It was an absolute pleasure working with Jonathan in concierge. He is among the best concierge I have had the opportunity of working with in all my travels. However, I must say the pleasure ended there. I stayed in Rome from 11/15-11/19 at the Relais Giulia, along with friends and family. A total of three rooms were rented. Throughout our stay, the showers were ice cold with the exception of one day. I've had many a cold showers and this was not particularly problematic for me. If this were the only complaint, I would still have provided a 5 star. However, my main issue occurred on the night of 11/16. At Relais Giulia, cards are not used to enter the room. Rather, a code must be entered on the doorknob, or you can use an app on your phone to unlock the door. From day one, our manual entry code was not working. Therefore, we relied on the app which my wife logged in with using her phone. After celebrating a night out on my birthday, we returned home and realized our phones were locked in the room. I went down to concierge, who had gone home for the night. An emergency number to the hotel manager, Angelita, was listed for emergency calls. I called her 3 times with no answer. We were locked out. We walked around town at 2am looking for a hotel, until the only place we were able to book was at Hotel Indigo, for $400 a night. With that said, the unexpected $400 bill put us in a tight spot for the rest of our trip. On this basis, I cannot recommend Relais Giulia nor would I return for future stays in Rome.
