Great Location And Spacious Room
I have been granted my request for a room at the 6 floor, clean and spacious regretted only stay for 3 days. The hotel is easy access to the train, bus and metro station. There is a lots of restaurants near by.
Great hotel for a quick getaway!
We stayed for 4 nights and chose this hotel for its location and spa facilities. The room we got on the second floor, was small but it served its purpose. I have to say it was the smallest bathroom I’ve ever had. However, the hotel was quaint in its own way and fully functional. I loved the old fashioned lift. The staff, service and breakfast were all as good as expected. I also loved the selfie corner photo frames! The location was superb, 2-3 mins walking distance to 2 train stations, serving all parts of Rome. Whole experience of Rome was enhanced by hotel that was close to stations so you could get your feet up very quickly after a long day of sightseeing. The spa facilities cost €15 each but worth it after a long day out. We had the whole place (stream room and sauna) to ourselves from 6-7pm on first day and really enjoyed the peace and tranquility. All in all a great little hotel for our great Roman getaway.
This is my fourth time staying at a hotel. So far I have enjoyed and even before I brought a group with me.This time, the hotel probably isn't what it used to be.The toilets in the room did not work and I had to go down to the lobby in the bathroom. And in the dining room, I asked for coffee several times and the whole meal arrived and was not crowded at all. Too bad. I arrive at a hotel that is close to Termini for the trips I need but disappointing
Good but some complaints
Website a bit misleading as mentioned complimentary smart phones for touring, plug in for phones (EUROPEAN PLUGS ONLY!- had to hit street to buy as 3 nights-pre & post cruise), & roof top garden(no mention of extra $). Had to wait to have beds separated despite prior requests both stays. Diet cokes 6 Euros at restaurant and 1 Euro at shop 1 block away? Found out on final bill 4 diet cokes later! Tips at restaurant cash only?? On a good note: great bkf and comfortable beds. Great location! Pleasant staff but some not too helpful. Seemed they were ‘unaware’ of procedures/ details. Note:If website told about plugs, would have packed adapters AND taken international service on Iphone as no hotel touring phones!
Great location, very good breakfast, nice people
The highlight of this hotel - and the reason we consistently spend here our short stays in Rome - is its location, at least if you get there by train (but you can easily get to Termini station from Fiumicino airport). It takes just ten minutes of foot, and while taking the very short walk to the hotel you can also say hi to the hundred people patiently waiting in line for a taxi. You know, Rome is not London or New York, here taxis are optimized for license holders (the infamous Roman tassisti) rather than for travelers. The Museo Nazionale Romano is just in front of the hotel, and you can always spend there the last hours you spend in Rome, then get your baggage at the hotel and within ten minutes hop on your train. And if you need to wait a quarter of hour for your wife (or husband) to get ready you have enough time to visit again Santa Maria degli Angeli, Roman Thermal building and Michelangelo's masterpiece, you can get there a hundred times and still marvel at the sight. Other than that, the hotel is good, people are nice, and breakfast very good. Good value for your bucks.
