NASTY, DIRTY

Reviewed 13 june, 2022

Checked in for a 4 night stay, went to the room and viewed the conditions of it and immediately asked for a refund which was granted. Unfortunately, I expected the owner to ask why and I would have asked her to come to my assigned room #18 for an honest explanation. Cigarette burns all over the furniture, the couch was so filthy and old I didn’t even put my backpack on it, the bathroom fixture was missing light bulbs, the carpet was stained and sticky. Just plain nasty and no excuse for the condition. Asking over a $100 a night.

GOOD PLACE TO STAY

Reviewed 3 october, 2021

We spent three nights at this family owned/run hotel. This was a very convenient location for visiting our friends in South Portland, Maine. The hotel was clean, reasonably priced and The staff was friendly. Many conveniences nearby, such as 7-Eleven, Hannaford Grocery Store and much more. Just a few miles to Old Orchard Beach. We would definitely stay there again!

Outdated, not very clean and smelly

Reviewed 10 august, 2019

A part from the owner being friendly, it stops there. Entering the room is like hitting a wall of bad smell. Only place available unfortunately. Would not take a bath and even showering was scary. Beds looked clean but unsure if it was. The door frame had been broken and badly repaired. Would not drink water from the room. AC was working good, tv also, internet is unstable and would disconnect every 15 minutes. Close to all good services. Unfortunately for them, I would not go back there.

Close to Old Orchard Beach

Decent sized room but carpet and bed cover had cigarette holes in them. Had a bit of a smoke smell but wasn’t overpowering. Tiny bathroom but sufficient. Kitchenette but didn’t notice and pots, pans, dishes or utensils. Had fridge, countertop stove and microwave. Convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Just a few minutes away from OOB and the interstate.

BED BUGS BITE

Reviewed 1 september, 2018

The room had a bad smell, I used my cologne and perfume to cover it up but didn't work ,room looks dirty , the picture online looks so much better that the real thing. I had bed bugs bite all over my legs, arms and body the next morning. The rate is so much more than the other 4 star hotels we stayed at. Location was good, close to the Lobster restaurant we had dinner after checking in.
