Our dream wedding

We made the fantastic choice of picking this beautiful chateau for our dream wedding at the end of August this year. From start to finish our experience was excellent, Nicolas was the perfect host and without him, we would not have had the incredible experience we did. We booked the chateau back in December 2019 with our wedding for august 2021. My wife is french from Saint Malo so our wedding was a solid 50/50 split of English/French. The chateau itself is stunning. The rooms and main building had all the original period features. The grounds are just as beautiful. It’s only a 10 minute ride to the old town of Saint Malo for exploring . Several of our guests walked with no problem. Hopefully our pictures help with showing how amazing an setting we had. Could not recommend highly enough!
Elegantly old chateau

We stayed two nights to explore St Malo and enjoyed the quiet peaceful spot. It’s only a 10 minute drive to St Malo which was very crowded in August. The hotel owners are very nice and helpful. We arrived in the late afternoon and the restaurant was complete for the Saturday night so we made a reservation for Sunday. We didn’t want to go to a restaurant within the walls Saturday but had a little trouble finding something not complete. We ended up in a great crepe restaurant not far away. The building is very old and a little creaky but it adds to its charm, it does have an elevator. They have an excellent breakfast buffet, good choices of breads, cheeses, yogurt, cereal and eggs and bacon cooked for you, as well as some desserts. The dinner was excellent. They said that it had an Asian twist but it was more Asian than traditional and all of the items on the set menu were very tasty. They have nice wine selection. We would recommend a stay here.

Amazing place. Authentic castle with rooms with a lot of charm. The park is huge and amazing It is only 11 minutes from Saint malo infra-muros. The hotel manager Nicolas is adorable. His spouse is the one who is managing the restaurant. The food is just amazing, the best lobster ever type of fusion food between French traditional cuisine and Cambodian cuisine. You will love the place also because it is quiet, small and you park almost in front of your entrance door
A romantic getaway

What a wonderful place to stay for our wedding anniversary. A beautiful chateau in wonderful grounds and convenient for historical Saint Malo. The rooms were large and comfortable and retained all the character of this historical chateau with beautiful french antique furniture. The staff were extremely efficient, very helpful and spoke excellent English. The evening meal was exceptional and our compliments to the chef. For a romantic getaway this was the perfect place and definitely worth every penny. We would also highly recommend any brides to be to definitely look at this venue for their wedding
Elegant building, poor room, understaffed and very expensive.

The hotel was difficult to find, but first impressions when driving down the elegant drive were good. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, We had booked a "superior" room but the room we were shown to was small and hidden under the eaves. Amongst the furnishings were a decrepit wardrobe that didn't close and a table with a broken top. I dread to think what a standard room looks like. We had a pre dinner drink and it transpired that the receptionist was also the barman and waiter at dinner. As far as we could tell, there were only three members of staff. The food served was passable, but certainly not high standard. There was no a la carte option. There were no facilities you would expect of a hotel of the standard claimed. The hotel charges premium prices, but is giving cheap hotel accommodation and service.
