We really loved our over night stay here! Our room was spacious and so clean, it was noticeably newly renovated - carpets and furniture looked brand new.
The location is just sooo pretty, we enjoyed the sunny balcony in the late afternoon. There is a fabulous walking trail right in front of the resort and the beautiful wharf as well.
Two restaurants on site but we didn't visit either. Nice to know you do not leave the property for food though!
Very friendly and helpful staff! Also there is a spa so the next visit we will make sure we book massages in advance. (did not inquire though this time, maybe we could've gotten in!)

Quality everything - beds, location, restaurant. We paid extra for the water side, king bed. Worth the splurge. You'd pay a lot more in major world resorts. My wife loved the bath robe. We did not swim in the pool, or use the hot tub. The "water side" is really a marsh, with open water in the distance. But a great view, so quiet at night. Don Cherry's Pub attached to the hotel is awesome - the patio is wonderful and has great "social distancing". MacDonald's is a 3 minute drive away for breakfast. The downtown of Salmon Arm is pretty, sweet! There's a walkway in front of the hotel, on the water side, that is excellent for jogging or walking.

Just got back from a one night staycation here. The property is immaculate, beautiful views and very clean!
We got a Lakeview room with a balcony and were not disappointed. We arrived about 2:30 even though check in isn’t u til 4:00 and they were super helpful about checking if our room was ready and getting us checked in early.
There are 3 dining options- I was disappointed Don Cherry’s wasn’t kid friendly but Ninteen05 is beautiful inside and out food was delicious (although they need more vegetarian options on the menu!). We did breakfast at Cafe Tasse which is decorate so cute and the crepes were delicious!
Pool and hot tub area was also nice and clean and has the nice lake view.
The only thing I might say could be improved is the spider situation around there. There are webs all over the balconies and in the walkway railings below as well with big spiders in them. Needs to be sprayed and/or cleaned off regularly with a broom!
I would 10/10 recommended staying here if you’re in the Salmon Arm area!

Well, our experience with Best Western Hotels in the past was always pleasant and we expected nothing special. We book our hotels because of the amenities they offer and which we would like to use. In this case it was very disappointing and started with a series of things. First, front desk agent told us that Restaurant/ Pub was closed due to staff shortage, assigned room was not ready, no bedding and Garbage in the room, new assigned room was ok, furniture outdated and with lots of scratches.We booked room with view, but window was dirty and had many spiders on it, so not very appealing. Room key didn't work at the pool, when we ask we were told " you need a second key" . Pool area is not well maintained, rust on some places, spider webs all over the hotel exterior and the whole exterior wasn't clean't for a very long time. When we asked about breakfast, fronst desk agent didn't know if they will be open and we need to wait until the next morning and see if somebody shows up. At the check in we had been charged with full room rate and additional $ 100.00 security deposit before we even reached our room. We traveled for decades and stayed in hundreds of hotels, but we never paid at check in. Of course at check out we have been told that she will charge us again and as we mentioned that we have been charged already, she said no, no it was only pre approved and I showed her my account deduction, so she said I will fix it and she did, of course after discussion about the room rate, which was $ 70 more than it should be and she said because of the taxes. After a few minutes she realized that she had the wrong room number and the rate we agreed on was correct. Anyways, for way less money you can stay somewhere else in town and most likely with more service at all.

Front desk and other staff had always been warm and cheerful in greeting us every time they see us. They’ve been very helpful as well with our requests like providing us with kettle and microwave in the room. Room and the bathroom were neat! Thank you for the great service!!
