Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Cock roaches everywhere. Couldn’t stay the second night. Deserves a minus review. I paid for a week, but had to donate that to get out of there. Friends that stayed there said there was no hot water until about 11:00 pm that night. I think they should be turned in to the health department.
Just a place to crash
We had a long hard day and it was late and needed a place to stay. We tried other choices but they were full so we wound up here. There were cockroaches everywhere, there was no trash can anywhere in the room. The only good thing about this room was the air conditioner was on when we got in the room and did a good job keeping the room cold. I certainly don’t recommend this motel.
Do not stay here unless you are truly desperate. There were cigarette burn holes in the coverlet on the bed in our supposedly "non-smoking" room. The room was not cleaned very well - we found Trix cereal on the floor. The bathroom ceiling fixture was broken. The WiFi signal was sometimes so weak in the room we could not use the WiFi. But worst of all, there were cockroaches in the room.
Do not stay here, unless you are broken down or have no money.
Well, I survived the night. Let me paint you a mental picture. No obligatory pad & pen by the phone. No cups, not even a plastic one in the bathroom for brushing teeth. No Kleenex, no bucket to get ice. But that's OK because I don't think there was an ice machine. The drawers looked like drawers until you try to pull it out, then you find out they're not actually drawers, those are just handles. The thermostat has 2 levels freezing or burning up. I did not take off my socks nor did I get under the covers of the bed because everything just looked so nasty. TV and Internet worked, shockingly enough, but the toilet didn't. You heard me right the first time I got into my room and I was dying to go to the bathroom after being on the road for 7 hours, the toilet started to overflow when I first flushed it and did not work the entire night so I ended up having to pee in the bathtub.!!! The YMCA or the Salvation Army with that better than this place. Staff was kind. It is very possible that this motel was just bought and they had no time to do with a vacation, however, until the rooms are worthy of a Motel 6, I would literally stay anywhere else,in San Angelo.
Fridge and Microwave in All Rooms
Huge rooms with fridge and microwaves! Thick carpet. Parking right in front. Plenty of area for my dog to walk. Very friendly, helpful staff. Concho River in back for a sweet sunset. Really like this place...
