More about the hotel
Relaxing kid-free weekend
We had a wonderful time staying at the RB Inn for a kid-free weekend! Brandon was able to book us a cabana even though it was a warm weekend and we had a lovely time lounging at the adult pool! Very enjoyable and such a pretty property!!
Not Bad
This place could be better with a few upgrades. They definitely need more elevators. We had to left our luggage up and down stairs to our rooms. The rooms didn’t have microwaves, we had to request one. The food and grounds are beautiful but, definitely could use some upgrading.
If you don't golf, stay elsewhere.
Communication prior to our stay was excellent. Once we arrived we were not given all we were promised. Part of our decision to stay here was based on a pet-friendly hotel w/ a "Welcome Fido" amenity, plus an in-room PPE kit. Both never materialised. This was our first trip away from home in over a year, and we DID feel safe on the property. However the property was operating at half-effort, with much closed early or not open at all. If we didn't have a car to take us down the street for food, we had very few options on site. All guests seemed to be clustered in the same area whilst other areas were completely empty. It wasn't ideal for social distancing. The golf course appeared to have all the staff's attention and resources, but the golfers were not even staying overnight. If the price was right and RBI was open fully i would consider staying here again.
A Spring Break to remember
The RB Inn made Spring Break look good! We have a family of seven and this time we also invited extended family with conjoining rooms next to the family pool. There’s something for everyone. The pool and jacuzzi for the kids, my wife loves the cafe where they bring up freshly baked items everyday, delicious sandwiches and cold brew drinks. The sun shone through the trees while walking on the golf course which is as picturesque as it comes. We had dinner on the Veranda where the view gives you goosebumps and the food is dreamy. So delicious, I went back for lunch the next day. The front desk crew accommodated every need with a simple text. We reserved the game room when our kiddos were stir crazy to burn some energy, then we took a walk around the place. They even have a garden on the grounds where they grow produce that the cooks use in their kitchen. This place! The grandparents hung by the pool in the comfy lounge chairs and played card games with the little ones. For the price, you can’t beat the experience. It’s rare to find businesses that go the extra mile to include the personal touch. We made timeless memories that will show up in our news feeds tens years from now and we won’t forget how the staff made us feel. Because they treat us well, we will be back to get our tan on this Summer. Can’t wait, pack the sunscreen Hun, let’s get this party started!
Special stay and tour of the Chef's Garden
Our family recently stayed here because we were going to visit the zoo. I'd recommend the Safari Zoo location because we learned later it was closer. The hotel was great, the grounds were amazing, staff was awesome and great atmosphere for the family pool and dining. Our highlight was the accidental tour we got from the head gardener and bee keeper he spent almost an hour with my daughter and I answering our questions and showing us all the amazing flowers and vegetables and herbs. It was the highlight of our trip!
