Get A Sea View Room!!!!!
Stayed at this hotel for 3 days and I honestly have nothing but great things to say. I also stayed during the pandemic period and 2 days after they had reopened and the staff was incredible. I know many floors were shutdown due to COVID and recent reopening and slow business but we got a sea view room and I honestly couldn’t be happier. That view was nothing short of incredible. It was quite cloudy the first two days here but as a person who suffers from Hyperhidrosis (abnormal and excessive sweating when body temperature is slightly raised), I honestly did not mind and those clouds meeting the water and mountains was quite the view. As someone who loves taking photos, I love the challenge of taking amazing photos on a cloudy day. I honestly don’t know what more I do or say to convince others to come here at least once. The north of Spain es la mierda and I hope you can enjoy San Sebastián and the rest of the north as I have come to. From Cali but I live in Madrid now and I can say the north has yet to see the last of me, as I have one more year here in Spain. If you visit San Sebastián, and stay at Tryp Orly, please do yourself the favor and get a sea view room—thank me later. If you opt for the breakfast, I think it was pretty decent. Oh and it’s one of the only hotels in the area with its own underground parking, which takes away the hassle of parking which can be pretty difficult in Sanse! Anyways, I think the world of this hotel and I hope you can find it as amazing as I did. And if you’re traveling during the pandemic period, I can say Sanse as a whole is dope about social distancing, hand sanitizing and masks in every establishment I went to, including Tryp!
Average. Outdated. Not Quaint. Not Recommended.
This property was a big disappointment. The location of the hotel is good, a couple of blocks from the beach and a shortish walk to the Old Town. But that's about it. It is not worth it. The rooms are very old, the deco is depressing, and the TV ancient. They need to do a complete refurbishment particularly since the prices were not cheap at all. Wifi was acceptable, but bedding was average, the toilette smallish. A 3 star property at best. Entrance is also unimpressive. There is parking for a fee. I would look for better options in lovely San Sebastian
Location Fine but hotel dated and in decay

The hotel is situated just a couple of minutes from the beach, and is really close to the old town and pretty much within walking distance of all the sights to see. The hotel looks a bit shoddy from the outside but the interior is lovely. The rooms are spacious. The only issue was our bathroom had an awful draft and that would be fine normally but there was awful strong wind while we were in San Sebastián so it made the bathroom quite cold. Not a big issue though! A well located hotel at a good price.
Great location, service to be improved
Despite the hotel had been advised of my 9.30 am check in after an international flight (for which they suggested to pay the previous night), they recorded the first night as a no show and they couldn’t find my reservation. Hotel was ok, clean, a bit noisy. The best was the location and the variety in the breakfast buffet!
