My husband and I took a vacation from our vacation. Came to Santo Domingo from Puerto Plata. Location is fabulous, just steps from El Conde but far enough to be able to relax from the hustle and bustle. The proprietor, Angelina, could not have been nicer not more accommodating.

Hostal Arboleda
Hola!! I think it's an excellent place! the administration is new and they have a lot of service available for people, I recommend this place because it is close to everything and has no bad odors or humidity. Angelica Thank you! Hace good a Holidays!!!
Great service and very organized.
The service and attention of the owners is spectacular. They were always willing to help with any minor detail. The AC worked great and the showers were hot. It is centrally located (right off of El Conde) yet it is not a party hotel and the rooms themselves were very isolated from the noise of the street. I highly recommend this hostal!
Terrible place... be aware!
Be careful with this hostal. The place does not look like the pictures in real life and the area is really bad all around at night. One of the employees recommended me a guy for me to meet selected from a group of "boys" whose pictures he had on his cell and were "his friends" and the guy stole my cell, my wallet and run even with my passport. Not a good place to be. When the employee was confronted he tried get money out of me to get my cell back. I called the police at night and left the hostel. This place is dangerous!
