Above & Beyond

Reviewed 11 july, 2021

Story Time: So I lost my car keys and the room key during my stay. I explained everything to the owners and they were absolutely incredible. They allowed me to stay in the room past check out time until I figured out what to do. They went above and beyond to make sure I was ok, which they did not have to do! The location ain’t too far from downtown and the beds are comfortable. Please support these folks. I highly recommend!

Great for the price

Reviewed 16 june, 2013

I have been visiting Savannah GA for the past week. I love the historic downtown area and river street and I wanted to stay there. The only problem is the price. SO I went a little way out of the downtown area out Ogeechee rd. and came a cross a strip with 3 motels: America's Best Value Inn, Stallion Motel and Thunderbird motel. The first night I stayed at America's Best Value Inn. The room was small and in desperate need of updating. The staff was rude and when I asked for an extra pillow they flat out refused. THen I stayed at Thunderbird. The Indian man at the desk was nice but the room was not very clean and had a lot of cocroaches. The A/C was also broken and I had to reach my finger inside to adjust the temp. Finally I stayed at Stallion. Even though I stayed there last it was only because it looked small and I was concerned the rooms might be too little. I was wrong. The room I stayed in was small but it had a really comfortable King sized bed and a new flat screen tv. The A/C was brand new and it was clean! I only spent $45 last night for my room and I was very happy. The staff was also very nice and made sure I had everything I needed. I am hanging out at starbuck in beautiful downtown Savannah Right now, but tonight I will be staying at Stallion again.
