Super cute, and boutique!

Loved staying here- I'm from Seattle and have to visit home often to see friends and family- so we were stoked to find a great place that we can always look to stay at whenever we come to town. Excellent customer service, super cute rooms (only bummer is that there should be more light above the sink so people can put on their makeup!), location is aces- within walking distance to most everything you'll want to get to in downtown Seattle. Beds are very comfortable and the water in the shower has great pressure and gets warm almost instantly. Beautiful place. They have a longtime customer in us.
Seattle Mariners Trip

We arrived extremely early (8:00 a.m.), hoping to leave our bags and return after the 1:00 p.m. Mariners game to check in, probably around 6:00. The Clerk said, of course, but let me check on your reservation, perhaps your room is ready early. It was, she checked us in and let us go on up. The room was wonderful. Clean, sunny and well stocked. We had large windows that looked down on the Market and lots of sun and fresh air. She was wonderful and we so enjoyed our time at the hotel, the cafe and bar. We will definitely be back next year for our Mariner weekend and we have already recommended the hotel to friends and acquaintances. The entire staff was friendly and professional. The food was great slap. Thank you to everyone. We will be back.
Awesome Hotel, Awesome Staff, and Awesome Experience!

This was a quick last minute trip that I took with my son. From the moment we began the check in process, we were welcomed with warmth by Jamella, the front desk supervisor! Our flight arrived much earlier than the check in time, and Jamella allowed us to store our luggage in a safe place so we could begin seeing the city. She even called us shortly after our leaving to begin sight seeing to let us know that there was a room available for us.
The room was lovely decorated, clean, comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was very relaxing and the bath robes were a nice touch, but we were too busy out and about and forgot to use them. The hotel is a short block from the Pike Place Market, and some might say it's right across the street from the market. The location is excellent! It's about a one minute walk to Pike Place Market, and about a twenty minute walk to the Space Needle, Chihuly Glass and Garden and MoPop. The hotel is conveniently located to the light rail - about a five minute walk. We took the light rail from the airport to the hotel. It was an easy and inexpensive way to get from the airport to the hotel.
Khalin was another person at the front desk, and he who gave us excellent suggestions about restaurants and places of interest not on the tourists' radar along with specific directions about how to get to the locations. It was always a pleasure to come back to the hotel to chat with Khalin!
Alfred, the supervisor of housekeeping, was wonderful and hardworking as there was a staffing shortage within housekeeping, but he worked hard to assist with cleaning rooms, so the staffing shortage was not apparent to the guests.
I loved the decor of the hotel! There is one room that is just off from the lobby that is the perfect place to relax - very comfy chairs to sit back and have a quiet moment. Our stay was so short, and we stayed on the move, so we never ate at the hotel. When in Seattle, we will definitely stay in Palihotel again. As nice as the hotel was, the best part was the wonderful staff! It was like catching up with friends each night when we returned to the hotel.
Best part of the hotel: location and lobby decor

My husband and I booked this for a weekend getaway in Seattle and primarily picked this hotel due to the cute interior and convenient location. We were a bit disappointed with the hotel due to the following:
- lack of housekeeping (we called the second day asking for towels as the housekeeping staff never came despite the sign on our door requesting they come. They sent up towels. The next day we were out all day and left a sign on the door for housekeeping. We had been there two nights and a half day at this point and came back to the room and still it had not been cleaned. At this point the small single trash can in the room was overflowing. I called the front desk and they said they are not doing any housekeeping due to being understaffed. That’s part of the perk of a hotel which was disappointing to me. I expected some sort of comp as not having housekeeping is an issue. They did send someone up later for trash pick up and towels.
-shower in our room stopped working mid shower. It would just stop water flow then slowly turn back on after a while. We reported this to the front desk upon departure
-lights in the bathroom stopped working the last night. At that point with the understaffing issues we just dealt with no lights and told the front desk upon checkout
-entire lobby smelled of natural gas the Saturday we stayed which was obviously concerning. It was very strong, when we told the front desk they said there was an inspection and it would just take a while for the natural gas smell to clear.
Charming, convenient and friendly

My search for a boutique-style, affordable hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle was rewarded. The Palihotel offered a comfortable and convenient base camp for all of our downtown adventures. The staff was incredibly friendly, our room was comfortable and clean, and I love the bar/restaurant/coffee shop located in the adjoining space. Parking was a little tricky, but not unexpected. The rooms with the water view were spectacular, so I'll do my best to snag one of those next time, but the interior rooms were quiet and nicely appointed. The only reason I wouldn't give teh room a 5 was the lack of counter space and low lighting for the sink and low water pressure/shower head combo. I don't normally wear much make-up, but trying to get fancy for a nice dinner downtown was really tricky. Regardless, I'll definitely recommend Palihotel to my friends and look forward to staying there again.
